In YouTube Studio, open Content, select the Live tab, choose your livestream, and open Analytics. To look specifically at ad delivery for live streams and replays, use YouTube Analytics’ Live filter. Check the metric label: ad impressions are individual ads shown, not impressions of your stream’s thumbnail.
Find the livestream’s analytics in YouTube Studio

Select the livestream you want to inspect and open Analytics. This is YouTube’s documented route to stream-level analytics on desktop (YouTube Studio Help: View live stream data).

To view ad-revenue reporting for live streams and live replays, open YouTube Analytics and select the Live filter. You can also use the Live chip in the Content tab to group live-stream performance during and after the stream (YouTube Help: Content tab analytics tips – Live; YouTube Help: Monetize your live stream).

Choose the metric by its name rather than assuming that every number in the analytics view measures ad delivery. The Live filter covers live content and replays; the stream’s thumbnail and its ads have separate impression counts.
Know which impression count you are reading

Interpret ad impressions on a continuous livestream
Monetization does not guarantee an ad in every slot
Turning on monetization does not mean that every ad slot will serve an ad. YouTube says its systems decide whether a slot receives an ad. Whether an ad appears can depend on factors including ad availability and targeting, the viewer’s geography, recent ad exposure, and whether the viewer has YouTube Premium (YouTube Help: Monetize your live stream; YouTube Help: Understand ad revenue analytics). A low or changing ad-impression count by itself does not establish that the stream is broken.

Do not assume an active stream’s count is real time
YouTube’s desktop help says video-level live-stream metrics are available within minutes after a stream ends. That guidance does not give a fixed refresh interval for ad-impression counts while an always-on stream is still running. Treat the active-stream figure as subject to reporting delay; the available documentation does not support a promise of minute-by-minute updates (YouTube Studio Help: View live stream data).
