In EA SPORTS FC 27, change your Ultimate Team club name from the in-game menu: open Football Ultimate Team, go to Settings > Rename Club, enter the new club name and three-letter abbreviation, then confirm.
Change your club name in FC 27
- From the Football Ultimate Team home screen, press R1 on PlayStation or RB on Xbox to move to Settings.
- Press R1/RB again to select Rename Club.
- Press X on PlayStation or A on Xbox to open the rename screen.
- Enter the new club name, then enter or adjust the three-letter abbreviation.
- Review both entries. Go back to edit either one if needed, then confirm the changes.
These menu directions are reported by specialist FC 27 guides; EA’s official FC 27 pages confirm the game and Football Ultimate Team context but do not provide a rename walkthrough. The guides report a 15-character limit for the club name, but that limit is not confirmed in the EA material cited here.

Club name or squad name?
Rename Club changes the identity of your Ultimate Team club. An individual squad name is a separate label, so changing it does not rename the overall club. For the club-name change, use Settings > Rename Club, not Squad Selector.

If the game rejects the name
Try a different name that follows EA’s naming rules and avoids offensive or inappropriate wording. The cited guidance does not establish a particular appeal process or moderation outcome for rejected names.
