Rockstar has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will include in-game radio and podcasts, but it has not published the button sequence for changing stations. The game is scheduled to release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, so the exact controls cannot yet be given as verified instructions.

How do you change the radio station in GTA 6?
There is no confirmed control sequence to follow yet. Rockstar’s official GTA VI page and music announcement confirm the radio feature, but do not specify which buttons change stations or how station selection works.
That means instructions such as using a station wheel, pressing a particular controller button, or selecting a station from a menu should not be treated as confirmed GTA 6 guidance. The same applies to whether radio controls work outside vehicles, how to mute the radio, and whether the controls differ between platforms.

Rockstar has named six stations on its official music page. These are previews, not confirmation of the complete final lineup.

When will GTA 6 release, and on which platforms?
Rockstar lists November 19, 2026, as the scheduled release date and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as platforms on its official game page. Until the game is available and its controls are checked in the release build, no platform-specific station-changing instructions can be confirmed.
