Use this route when you want a naturally encountered Thornblade or one of the forms whose official habitat is Sea of Flowers.
- Confirm the target form. Open the current Aniimo index and select the basic, Thunderstorm or Prismana entry. The basic entry is No. 034; the other two have their own index pages.
- Travel to Sea of Flowers. The official listings name this area for basic Thornblade, Thunderstorm Thornblade and Prismana Thornblade.
- Locate an encounter. Search the area using the exploration and encounter systems available in your version of Aniimo. The cited sources confirm the habitat but do not document encounter rates, time windows, weather rules or a guaranteed spawn point.
- Follow the capture prompt shown in-game. The available references do not verify the required capture device, the control binding, or the exact interaction sequence. Use the prompt and terminology displayed by your client instead of buying or equipping an item based on an unverified guide.
- Confirm the result in your roster. Check that the newly acquired Aniimo is Thornblade and note its form before leaving the area. This prevents confusing a basic entry with Thunderstorm or Prismana when you later build your party.

- Use a party containing only that Budsquire. According to the guide, you must defeat a Thornblade while the party consists solely of the Budsquire you intend to evolve. Remove other Aniimo before attempting the fight if you are testing this requirement.
- Obtain a Sprout Stone. The reported evolution consumes or requires a Sprout Stone. The guide does not establish a universal acquisition location in the material available here, so use the current in-game item description and inventory sources.
- Check the evolution screen. Open Budsquire’s current evolution interface and verify that the level, battle condition and stone are recognized. Do not force the evolution if the screen shows different requirements.
- For the Towerwood result, be in Rosetower Woods. The same guide reports that Towerwood evolution additionally requires being in Rosetower Woods. The official index independently lists Towerwood Thornblade in that region, but it does not confirm the complete evolution trigger.
The in-game evolution screen should take precedence over a guide if the displayed conditions differ. A failed attempt does not prove that Budsquire cannot evolve; first check the level, the solo-party condition, the Sprout Stone and the location requirement for Towerwood.

- Open the roster, Aniimo-management or party screen exposed by your current client.
- Find Thornblade by name or by its No. 034 basic entry, then inspect the form label so you do not select Towerwood, Thunderstorm or Prismana by mistake.
- Select an available active-party slot or replace the Aniimo you no longer need in that slot.
- Confirm the party change, then open the party display again to make sure Thornblade is listed as active.
If Thornblade appears in storage but not in the active party, look for a separate confirmation step, a locked slot or a party-size limit shown by the interface. If the game uses different labels, follow those labels rather than trying to reproduce a menu path from another platform. The available sources establish where Thornblade is found and how one evolution route is reported, but they do not verify this interface sequence.
What Thornblade does in battle

Using Sword Dance
Sword Dance rewards a deliberate skill-to-basic-attack rhythm. The official listing says each skill grants one stack, up to four stacks, and that the stacks last 15 seconds. Each basic attack consumes one stack and deals 180% extra damage. In practical terms:

A community build guide says Thornblade’s in-game build panel recommends Melloblum as a partner and names Ferocious Fang as a held item. This is a source-attributed recommendation, not a universal requirement for catching Thornblade, unlocking its evolution or placing it on your team: read the build guide.
Use the recommendation as a starting point after Thornblade is active. Check whether your own build panel shows the same partner and item, especially after a balance update or when using a different Thornblade form. Do not delay the acquisition route because you do not yet own either recommendation; neither is established as a prerequisite.
Form-by-form planning
Basic Thornblade
Basic Thornblade is the clearest target for a first capture: it is No. 034, Grass type, classified as a DPS, and listed in Sea of Flowers. Use this form when you want the baseline entry and the official Sword Dance description tied to it.
Towerwood Thornblade

Prismana Thornblade
Prismana Thornblade is listed as Grass and Water, also with Sea of Flowers as its habitat. Treat it as a distinct form for roster management and build decisions rather than assuming that a basic Thornblade automatically converts into Prismana.
