How do I clean a pink G-SHOCK band?
- Wipe it regularly. Use a soft cloth on the watch and band to remove dirt, sweat, water, and residue. Casio recommends frequent wiping but does not prescribe a daily or weekly schedule. Casio’s user-maintenance instructions identify a soft cloth as the routine tool.
- Wash the resin band with water. Rinse or wash the band gently, then wipe it dry with a soft cloth. Casio’s guidance for metal bands uses a different method; do not apply that method to a colored resin band.
- Rinse away salt water or mud. If the watch is exposed to either, rinse it with clean fresh water, then dry it. Casio specifically recommends this rinse in its user-maintenance guidance.
Can I use soap or cleaner on a resin watch strap?
Casio’s cited guidance for resin bands recommends water and a soft cloth; it does not recommend a chemical cleaner for colored resin. Avoid solvents and products that may contain them, including thinner, gasoline, oils, fats, and some cleaners or cosmetics. Casio warns these can discolor or damage resin in its operating precautions. The cited instructions do not endorse bleach, acetone, alcohol, stain removers, abrasive pads, or whitening treatments, so do not assume those are safe.

Do not scrub hard, especially over painted or printed areas. If ordinary wiping and rinsing do not remove a mark, avoid escalating to an unverified stain-removal treatment that could damage the finish.
How do I keep a pink watch band from fading or staining?
- Dry it promptly. Wipe the watch and band after washing or getting wet, and let them dry before storage. Casio warns that leaving resin wet for long periods can contribute to discoloration or fading.
- Keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight. Extended exposure can affect resin’s appearance.
- Do not leave dirt on it. Clean residue rather than allowing it to remain on the band.
- Store it dry and separate from other items. Casio warns that wet resin can transfer color to or from objects it touches. Its operating precautions cover these risks.
A soft microfiber cloth is a convenient option for wiping and drying, but no special cloth is required; the manufacturer’s guidance is simply to use a soft cloth.

When should I stop wearing the watch?
Stop wearing it if the band becomes stiff, cracked, loose, discolored, or otherwise abnormal. Casio warns that sweat or water left on a resin band or bezel can contribute to premature wear, cuts, and breaks. See its operating precautions, and check with Casio or an authorized service provider about a replacement that matches the exact watch model. A pink G-SHOCK’s color alone is not enough to identify a compatible band.
Wear the band with enough room to insert a finger rather than fastening it too tightly. If wearing the watch causes a rash or skin irritation, remove it and contact a skin-care professional.

Does the cleaning advice depend on the G-SHOCK model?
The basic gentle-care steps above apply to resin-band maintenance, but water-resistance ratings and service details vary by watch. Because the exact model is not specified, do not assume a particular immersion limit or water-resistance rating. Check the manual for your model before exposing it to water beyond routine rinsing.
For the Module 5719 guidance specifically, Casio says gaskets need periodic replacement, giving about two or three years, and recommends that battery replacement be handled by the original retailer or an authorized service center.
