You can capture a public website with Screenshot.rocks for free, without creating an account or buying software. Its online tool captures the first screen; for a full scrolling page, use the screenshot feature built into your browser or phone, then import the result into Screenshot.rocks if you want to crop it or add a frame.
Capture a public website with Screenshot.rocks
- Open the Screenshot.rocks website screenshot tool.
- Enter the website address. The tool says you can leave off the
https://prefix. - Choose Mobile to capture a phone layout, or leave it off for desktop.
- Select Capture.
- Choose a browser frame and background if you want them, then export the image.
Screenshot.rocks describes this public-page workflow as free and requiring no account. Its online capture shows the first screen, not the entire page below the fold. The service’s published layouts are 1440 × 800 at 2× density for desktop, yielding 2880 × 1600 pixels, and 375 × 812 at 3× density for mobile, yielding 1125 × 2436 pixels. Capture a full scrolling page with a browser you already have
For a page that extends below the first screen, major browsers have built-in capture options. The exact menu can vary by browser version or device.

- Open the page and launch DevTools.
- Open the DevTools Command Menu.
- Choose Capture full size screenshot.
Firefox
- Right-click the page.
- Choose Take Screenshot, then Save full page.
Microsoft Edge
- Open the browser menu and choose Screenshot.
- Select Capture full page.
Safari on Mac
- Enable Safari’s web developer features.
- Open Web Inspector.
- Capture the
<html>element.
iPhone
- Take a screenshot and open its preview.
- Choose Full Page. The guide says this full-page result saves as a PDF.
Android
- Take a screenshot and open its preview.
- Choose Capture more or Scroll capture. The label varies by phone.
After saving a full-page capture, you can drop the image into Screenshot.rocks to crop it or add a frame and background. Browser captures may hit height limits on very long pages. And if the full image will appear in a slide or social post, consider cropping to the relevant section: shrinking a long page to fit can make its text unreadable.

When the online capture cannot access a page
Screenshot.rocks says its online tool cannot capture pages behind a login, local addresses such as localhost, or sites that block automated browsers. It loads the page as a first-time visitor, so it may not reproduce a view that depends on your signed-in session.
For a logged-in page, take the screenshot in your own browser and import it. Screenshot.rocks’ extension information says the extension captures the visible tab, including logged-in pages, but does not capture a full page or browser-internal pages. If you are using the web tool and capture fails, check the address for a typo, allow for a slow page load, or switch to a local browser capture if automated browsers are blocked.

Screenshot.rocks says the captured page is returned to the browser and not stored on its server; its homepage says images are processed in the browser and never stored on the service’s servers. Those are the provider’s statements, not an independent security audit. The extension information likewise says that clicking its button sends the screenshot to Screenshot.rocks to open in the editor and that it is not stored.
The documented workflow is free and uses an existing browser or device, but the service materials do not establish India-specific availability, regional restrictions, or network performance. If access is uncertain, check whether the tool and target site load on your own connection.
