How to Capture Screenshots of Product Pages in Indian Languages

To save a product page in an Indian language, first make that language appear on the page, then take the screenshot. If the retailer already offers a language version, open it directly; otherwise, try your browser’s webpage-translation controls. Check the translated text before capturing, because translating a webpage and translating text in a saved image are separate processes.

Translate the product page before capturing it

If the retailer has a language selector, use it first. A page served in the language you want is usually the simplest starting point. If the page is not available in that language, Chrome can offer webpage translation: right-click the page and choose Translate to your preferred language. Chrome also has settings for choosing preferred languages and configuring its translation offer under Settings → Languages and Google Translate.

Translation controls and available languages vary by browser, device, and page. Before taking the screenshot, check that the visible page—not just the browser controls—shows the intended language. Product names, prices, sizes, delivery details, and other key information should remain legible and make sense in context.

Capture the page on your device

iPhone using Safari

  1. Open the product page in Safari and switch it to the desired language, if needed.
  2. Take a screenshot: on an iPhone with Face ID, quickly press and release the side button and Volume Up together. On an iPhone with a Home button, quickly press and release the side button and Home button together.
  3. Tap the screenshot preview, then select Full Page to capture content beyond the visible screen.
  4. Save the result as an image to Photos or as a PDF to Files, then review it to confirm the product details are readable.

Apple documents Full Page capture in Safari for content such as an entire webpage. The option may not be available for every kind of screen or content.

#1 Best Overall

Google Pixel

  1. Open the product page and make sure the desired language is displayed.
  2. Press Power and Volume Down together to capture the screen.
  3. For a long page, tap Capture more if it appears, then extend the capture to include the content you need.
  4. Save and review the screenshot.

Google’s scrolling-screenshot instructions specify Android 12 and later and say Capture more is available on most screens that allow scrolling. This is Pixel guidance; other Android manufacturers may use different controls or offer different availability.

Other phones and computers

Use the screenshot or scrolling-capture controls documented for your device and browser. The workflows above establish specific steps for iPhone with Safari and Google Pixel; they do not establish a universal menu path for every Android model, browser, or desktop operating system. If your device cannot capture a long page as one image, take overlapping screen captures or save the page as a PDF if your browser supports it.

Translate text in a screenshot instead

If you already have a screenshot and want to understand its text, that is image translation—not webpage translation. On Pixel 3 and later, Google documents this route: open the screenshot in Google Photos, tap Lens, then Translate. Google’s listed screenshot-translation languages include Hindi, but that list does not establish support for every Indian language or every Android device. If your desired language is not offered, try translating the webpage before taking a new screenshot.

Check the saved result

  • Confirm that the page itself displays the intended language, not only translated browser menus.
  • Check that important product details, prices, and variants are included and readable.
  • For a long page, confirm that the capture includes the sections you need and has not cut off content.
  • Remember that translation can change wording or layout; inspect the result rather than assuming the capture reflects the retailer’s original presentation.

Or skip the browser setup

If the product URL already serves the language you want, ScreenshotNeo can capture it with one GET request. It captures the page served at the URL; it does not reproduce a translation applied locally by Chrome, so use a retailer’s language-specific URL when available. Cookie and consent banners are accepted or removed before capture, along with 60+ known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets; these steps can each be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, failed loads, timeouts, and cache hits are not billed, and response headers report the page verdict and billing status. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots per month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000. See ScreenshotNeo and its API documentation.
