The exact controls and full-page support vary by device, operating system, browser and app version.

Before you capture: show the right product and price
- Open the product page on Amazon.in and wait for the details you need to appear.
- Select the size, colour, pack or other variant first if it changes the displayed price.
- Position the page so the product name and price are visible together, if possible. Include the selected option and relevant offer or seller details when those matter to your record.
- Take the screenshot using your device’s controls below. If the information extends below the screen, use scrolling or full-page capture where available; otherwise, take multiple overlapping screenshots.
- Open the saved image in Photos, Gallery or the device’s Screenshots location and check that it is readable. Crop only if the remaining image still makes clear which product, option and page the price belongs to.
A screenshot records what was displayed at that moment; it does not guarantee the offer will remain available. Amazon India’s shopping guide describes Lightning Deals as limited-time offers that update every few hours, and separately describes Price Drop Alerts for notifications when prices fall.

Open the Amazon.in page in the app or a browser and bring the relevant details on screen. On most Android phones, press Power and Volume Down at the same time. If that does not work, Google’s Android instructions say to hold the power button for a few seconds and tap Screenshot. Button behavior can vary by phone maker.

Find the saved image in Google Photos or your phone’s Gallery, depending on the device. On Android 12 and later, Google documents a Capture more option for most screens that allow scrolling: take the initial screenshot, tap Capture more, then select additional content. It is not available for every screen, and the interface can differ by manufacturer.
Take a screenshot on iPhone
- iPhone with Face ID: Quickly press and release the Side button and Volume Up together.
- iPhone with a Home button: Quickly press and release the Side button and Home together. On older models with a top button, use Top and Home.
Review the image in Photos. Apple’s Full Page option can capture content beyond the screen for supported content, such as a webpage in Safari; do not assume it is offered within the Amazon shopping app. If you do not see the option, use the visible-screen screenshot or overlapping captures.

Take a screenshot on Mac
Press Shift-Command-5 to open the Screenshot controls. Choose to capture the entire screen, a window or a selected portion, then save the image. For a product-price record, choose a selection that keeps the product identity and price together.

Use the screenshot controls for your version of Windows or consult Microsoft Support for the current steps. The directions available for this guide did not establish a specific Windows shortcut, so the exact control depends on your system version and setup.

If the screenshot is blank or misses the details
- The option or price is not visible: Return to the product page, select the intended variant, and reposition the page before capturing.
- The page continues below the screen: Try Android’s Capture more on a supported screen, or iPhone’s Full Page option where it is offered. Otherwise, save overlapping screenshots.
- The capture appears blank or fails in the app: As a practical workaround, try opening the same product page in a normal browser and capture it there. This is not a guaranteed fix or a confirmed universal Amazon-app rule.
- The saved image is hard to interpret: Check the original before cropping, and retain the product name and selected option alongside the displayed price.
Use an Amazon screenshot to find a product again
If your screenshot shows an item you want to identify or locate on Amazon.in, Amazon India’s Lens instructions allow you to upload an existing photo or screenshot from your camera roll to find similar products. Lens also supports taking a camera photo, refining results with text, and scanning a barcode. This is a product-finding feature, separate from taking the screenshot.
