To capture a page behind a login with LambdaTest, now branded TestMu AI on its current product pages, save a login profile and use it when you run Screenshot Testing. The profile’s login URL is where the browser signs in; the separate screenshot URL is the page you want captured.
Set up a saved login profile
-
Sign in to your TestMu AI/LambdaTest account and open Visual UI Testing → Screenshot Testing.

Inspect the live login form in your browser’s developer tools. Identify the username or email field, password field, and submit control. The support guide lists locator types including ID, Name, TagName, CSS Selector, XPath, Class Name, Link Text, and Partial Link Text. Choose a locator that uniquely identifies each control; a class shared by multiple elements can select the wrong button.

Enter credentials authorized for this test, then save the profile with a recognizable name. The profile stores the login details for later runs.
TestMu AI’s documented sequence is to load the login URL, fill the specified username and password fields, activate the submit control, wait for the next page to render, and then provide the screenshot test URL. Its support article describes the login URL as one “fed into the browser.” TestMu AI support: Taking Screenshots of Pages Behind Login (updated February 17, 2026).
Run the screenshot capture

In Screenshot Testing, enable the saved login profile.

Enter the separate URL of the page that requires authentication—the target to capture after sign-in.
-
Start with a single test session. Confirm that the login succeeds and the target page renders as expected before running the intended browser or device configurations.
-
Once verified, run the needed configurations. The vendor guide describes bulk and full-page captures and states that a test session allows up to 25 screenshots; treat that as the documented limit, since product limits can change.
Fix common login-capture failures
-
The login step fails: Re-check each locator against the current form and confirm it uniquely selects the intended field or button. If a class selector matches several elements, choose a more specific locator, such as an appropriate XPath.

The wrong page or no useful screenshot appears: Confirm that the login profile contains the login-page URL and that the screenshot run uses the post-login target URL. Verify the profile in one session and allow the destination time to render after submission.

ScreenshotNeo can capture a public URL with one GET request. For example, this cURL command saves a WebP screenshot of the authenticated destination only if that URL is accessible to the API; it does not sign into your TestMu AI account or automate a private login flow.

See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation. Before a capture it accepts cookie or consent banners like a visitor and removes more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets; those steps can be turned off. Bot checks/CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing, and response headers identify the page verdict and billing status. An MCP server lets AI agents use take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots per month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I put the page I want to capture in the login profile URL?
