Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. These settings make the capture easier to interpret; they do not reproduce a universal or city-precise result set.
Set Hindi and India in Google Search
- Open Search settings. On a computer, go to Google Search Settings. Google’s computer instructions describe opening Search settings, changing preferences, and saving them; labels and controls can vary by device, account, locale, and interface version. See Google’s computer settings help.
- Choose Hindi under preferred results languages. This is distinct from display language, which controls buttons and other interface text. A Hindi display language does not filter every result into Hindi, and a preferred results language is not a guarantee that all results or page elements will be in Hindi. Google explains the distinction in its language-of-results help.
- Set the results region to India. This is a country-level region preference, not a setting that simulates every searcher in Delhi. Use “Delhi” in the search terms as well when the intent is local. Google says language and location can help determine results, but location is estimated from multiple signals.
- Save the preferences if Google presents a save action, then return to Search and run the exact keyword query you want to document.
Google also describes how its systems handle multilingual searches, including that multilingual searchers need not constantly change language settings to receive results in different languages: Google Search Central’s multilingual-search explanation. Settings are useful context, but they do not force a single-language result page.

Run and label the search you want to capture
Enter the keyword exactly as you intend to document it. If you are comparing a Devanagari Hindi phrase with a Roman-script spelling, search each as a separate query and label each capture with its literal query. Do not assume that a particular transliteration will produce a predictable result set.

Google’s location signals can affect local relevance, but they do not establish an exact, reproducible Delhi-local ranking.

Record the conditions and capture the results
Before saving the image, record the date and time, browser and device, whether you were signed in, the selected preferred results language and results region, and any location note Google displays at the bottom of the results page. Search customization may also affect results; Google’s Search Settings page includes customization controls, and its location help describes how location can be used in Search.
- Keep the query visible in the results-page screenshot, or include the exact query in a caption or filename.
- If the settings themselves matter to your claim, capture a separate screenshot of the settings. A results-page image alone does not prove which preferences were selected.
- Keep relevant context visible. Do not crop away the query, location note, or other information needed to understand what the image shows.
- Describe the image as a dated observation under stated conditions—not as proof that every person in Delhi sees identical rankings.
Google notes that search location can be estimated and may influence language and local relevance. The available location help is presented here through a proxy URL: Google’s computer location help. The documented controls support choosing India as a region; they do not establish a general-purpose way to recreate every individual Delhi user’s live results.
What the screenshot can and cannot establish
- It can show the visible Google results for a particular query, at a particular time, in the recorded browser and settings context.
- It cannot establish that all Delhi users see the same results, that every result is in Hindi, or that an India region preference equals precise Delhi geolocation.
- A signed-out or private session is not automatically a neutral baseline. Different sessions and customization settings are different conditions, not proof of a single objectively correct result set.
Troubleshooting common capture problems
The interface is in Hindi, but results are not all Hindi
Display language changes Search buttons and other interface text; it does not filter every result. Check preferred results languages separately, and treat that preference as guidance rather than a guarantee.
Results look national rather than Delhi-specific
India is a country-level region. Include “Delhi” in a locally intended query, and record any location note Google shows. Neither step guarantees an identical result set to another person’s search.
You cannot find the same setting or save control
Google’s visible controls can differ by device, account, locale, and interface version. Use the computer settings help or open Search Settings directly, then confirm the selected preferences before capturing.
A screenshot does not prove which settings were active
Capture the settings page separately and preserve the results-page query and any visible location note. Add a caption with the remaining context, such as date/time, device/browser, and sign-in state.
Two Hindi spellings show different results
Keep each literal query distinct and label its screenshot accurately. The available documentation does not establish how Google will handle the transliteration of any particular keyword.

For an API-based capture, ScreenshotNeo accepts a URL in one GET request and returns an image or PDF. This example captures the Google results URL you provide; it does not set Google’s language, region, or search-personalization preferences for you. Construct the URL with the exact query and settings context you want to capture.
