You can take a website screenshot on a 3 GB Android phone with Power + Volume Down. For a full-page capture, try Android’s Capture more control or Chrome’s Long screenshot option. The phone’s RAM amount is not itself a screenshot requirement; it may matter if a demanding page struggles to load.
Take a standard screenshot
- Open the website and show the content you want to capture.
- Press Power and Volume Down at the same time.
- Use the on-screen preview or notification to open, save, or share the image.
If that shortcut does not work on your phone, hold Power for a few seconds and tap Screenshot if the option appears. Button behavior can vary by manufacturer. If neither method works, check the support instructions for your phone model. Google’s Android screenshot guidance describes these common methods.

Capture a scrolling page with Android
On Android 12 and later, many scrollable screens offer a system-level scrolling screenshot. It is not available on every device or every page.
- With the webpage open, press Power + Volume Down.
- In the screenshot controls, tap Capture more, if it appears.
- Adjust the crop guides to include the part of the page you need.
- Save or share the resulting image using the controls on your phone.
If Capture more is missing, the screen or device may not support the system feature. Try Chrome’s own long-screenshot workflow below. Device makers can also customize screenshot controls.

Use Chrome’s Long screenshot option
Chrome for Android documents a browser-level option for capturing a longer webpage. This can be useful when Android’s screenshot controls do not offer Capture more.
- Open the webpage in Chrome.
- Tap More > Share… > Long screenshot.
- Adjust the crop handles to select the content.
- Tap Confirm, then save or share the image.

What 3 GB of RAM means for screenshots
Three gigabytes of RAM does not, by itself, prevent a phone from taking screenshots. Android’s standard screenshot shortcut and the available scrolling-capture features are operating-system or browser functions; the supplied Google guidance does not specify a minimum RAM requirement for taking a screenshot.

If the webpage will not load or capture
- Chrome runs out of memory or the page fails to load: close other tabs, quit apps you are not using, pause downloads, then reload the affected page. These are Google’s recommended steps for memory-related loading problems. See Chrome’s page-loading troubleshooting guidance.
- The system screenshot shortcut does nothing: try holding Power and tapping Screenshot, if offered, or consult your phone maker’s instructions.
- Capture more does not appear: try Chrome’s More > Share… > Long screenshot route. Neither method is guaranteed on every model or page.
- The screenshot stops before the bottom: check whether you are using a scrolling capture option rather than the standard screenshot, and adjust the crop handles before confirming.
