Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteUse Chrome DevTools Device Mode to capture your site at a chosen mobile CSS viewport, then save either the visible area or the full page. Motorola specifies the Moto G84 5G’s physical display as 2400 × 1080 pixels with a 20:9 aspect ratio, but that does not establish the phone browser’s CSS viewport size or device pixel ratio. Treat the dimensions you enter in DevTools as emulation settings—not as verified Moto G84 browser dimensions.
What size should you use for a Moto G84 screenshot?
Motorola lists the Moto G84 5G display as 2400 × 1080 pixels, 402 ppi, and a 20:9 aspect ratio on its specifications page. Those are physical display specifications. A website layout responds to a browser viewport measured in CSS pixels, and the manufacturer specification does not state the Moto G84 browser’s CSS viewport dimensions or device pixel ratio.

So there is no verified Moto G84 CSS width-and-height pair to enter based on those specifications alone. In DevTools, choose and record the CSS width and height you want to test. If you use a 20:9 ratio for a layout check, label it as your chosen emulation ratio rather than a confirmed handset browser setting.

Capture the site in Chrome DevTools
- Open the website in Chrome, then open DevTools. You can right-click the page and choose Inspect, or use Chrome’s keyboard shortcut for DevTools.
- Click Toggle device toolbar in DevTools to enable mobile device emulation. In the responsive controls, enter the CSS width and height you intend to test. Chrome documents entering dimensions directly in Device Mode; its Device Mode guide covers the available controls.
- Set the orientation you need. Use portrait for a tall, narrow layout review or switch to landscape for a wider viewport. Record the actual width, height, and orientation used.
- Open the Device Mode More options menu and choose Capture screenshot for the currently visible viewport. Choose Capture a full size screenshot to include the page below the fold.
- Keep the dimensions and capture type with the image if the screenshot needs to be reproduced later. A viewport capture and a full-page capture show different amounts of content.
If the Moto G84 is not in the device list
Chrome supports custom devices. In DevTools, open Settings > Devices > Add custom device, enter the emulation details you want, save the device, then select it from the dimensions list. Chrome’s Devices settings documentation describes this path. Because the available official sources do not establish a verified G84-specific CSS viewport or device pixel ratio, a custom entry is a convenient saved test profile—not proof of the handset’s exact browser dimensions.

When to use the actual Moto G84
Device Mode simulates a mobile experience from a desktop; it does not run the site on a Moto G84. Chrome notes that some properties of real mobile devices cannot be simulated and recommends testing on a physical device when actual-device behavior matters. For a screenshot on an owned Moto handset, Motorola documents pressing Power + Volume Down at the same time; its help page also describes scrolling capture for longer content: Take screenshots.
Use DevTools for repeatable responsive-layout checks. Use the phone when you need evidence of how the page renders on that handset, including behavior that desktop emulation may not reproduce.

Troubleshooting
- The screenshot is wider or narrower than expected: Check the CSS width and height shown in Device Mode, rather than using the Moto G84’s physical pixel count as a CSS viewport.
- The image cuts off content below the fold: Use More options > Capture a full size screenshot instead of Capture screenshot.
- The page does not behave like it does on the phone: Device Mode is an approximation. Check the page on the actual handset for behavior that depends on real mobile hardware or software.
- You cannot find a Moto G84 preset: Add a custom device through Settings > Devices > Add custom device, or use responsive mode and enter the dimensions directly.
