To capture a whole webpage with Nimbus Screenshot in Chrome, open the page, launch Nimbus Screenshot, and choose Entire page. When the capture opens in Nimbus’s editor, make any changes and click Done to reach the save or sharing options. Use Capture scroll fragment only when you want an internally scrolling panel, such as a chat window, rather than the webpage as a whole.
Capture the entire webpage
- Open the webpage you want to capture in Chrome.
- Start Nimbus Screenshot from its extension control. Nimbus’s help guide also lists the context menu and configured hotkeys as capture entry points.
- Choose Entire page from the capture options.
- Wait for the image to open in Nimbus’s editor. Optionally crop or annotate it, then click Done to continue to the save or sharing choices.
Nimbus also describes an action-after-capture setting that can be configured in advance to skip the editor. The exact current menu layout may differ: the available vendor instructions are older, and the current Chrome Web Store listing and extension version have not been verified. Choose the right scrolling mode
| Mode | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Entire page | The webpage as a whole, including content beyond the visible browser window. |
| Capture scroll fragment | An internally scrolling area within a page, such as a chat window, service panel, or task window. |
Nimbus says Capture scroll fragment appears when it detects an internal scrollable object. It is not the mode for capturing the entire webpage. See Nimbus’s explanation of Capture scroll fragment.
Permissions and saving
Nimbus’s Chrome permissions page says access to change data on websites you visit is needed to take page screenshots, and download access is used to save images to your computer. This is the vendor’s explanation of its permission requests, not an independent security assessment. If Chrome asks for permissions, review the prompt and decide whether to grant them before using the extension. Nimbus’s explanation is at About permissions in Fusebase Capture for Google Chrome.

Can I use Nimbus’s Entire page option to capture a scrolling chat panel?
No. Use Capture scroll fragment for a scrollable panel embedded within the page; Entire page is for the webpage as a whole.
