To capture an entire webpage—not just what is visible on your Chromebook screen—open the page, click the Awesome Screenshot extension icon, choose Capture, then Full Page. Follow the extension’s on-screen flow to review or save the result. Awesome Screenshot’s help center documents this sequence for its Chrome extension and browsers that support Chrome extensions; it does not list specific Chromebook models or ChromeOS configurations.
Capture the whole webpage with Awesome Screenshot
- Open the webpage you want to capture in Chrome.
- Click the Awesome Screenshot icon in the browser toolbar. Its help article says the icon is typically at the top right.
- Select Capture.
- Select Full Page.
- Review the capture and follow the extension’s prompts to save or export it. The documented instructions do not specify the subsequent controls or a particular file format.
The extension’s help article says a keyboard shortcut is available, but does not give its key combination there. Use the toolbar steps if you do not know a shortcut already.

Full-page capture versus Chromebook screen capture
ChromeOS’s built-in Screen Capture is for capturing the display: it offers full-screen, partial-screen, and window options. Awesome Screenshot’s Full Page option captures the webpage beyond the part currently visible in the browser. The two options capture different things.
To open ChromeOS Screen Capture, use the Screenshot key if your Chromebook has one, or open Screen Capture from the system menu. If there is no Screenshot key, Google documents Shift + Ctrl + Show windows. ChromeOS saves screenshots to Downloads by default. These native steps are useful for a quick screen grab, but the documented choices are not a substitute for the extension’s full-webpage mode.

Resolution and clarity
Awesome Screenshot’s help center says screenshot resolution mainly depends on the display. Its post-capture Resize action changes resolution to meet platform requirements; it does not make a blurry capture clearer. If text or images look unclear, resizing is not a sharpening fix.
