In Chrome, open the page, click the Awesome Screenshot extension, choose Capture, then Full Page. The documented shortcut is Alt+Shift+F. You can annotate the result and then save or finish using the choices available in your extension version.
Capture the entire page with the extension
- Open the webpage you want to capture in Chrome.
- Click the Awesome Screenshot icon in the toolbar. If it is not visible, open the puzzle-piece Extensions menu and pin the extension.
- Choose Capture, then choose Full Page.
- Wait for the capture to complete. Annotate it if needed, then save or finish using the options shown in your version of the extension.

Use the keyboard shortcut
Awesome Screenshot documents Alt+Shift+F as the shortcut for Capture > Full Page. To change it, open the extension’s Options and choose Set shortcuts, or visit chrome://extensions/shortcuts. The shortcut can be customized, so if it does not work, check the shortcut currently assigned in Chrome.

Install or find the extension
To install Awesome Screenshot, visit its Chrome Web Store listing, click Add to Chrome, then Add extension. If it is already installed but missing from the toolbar, open Chrome’s puzzle-piece Extensions menu and pin it. The vendor’s installation instructions are at Awesome Screenshot Help Center.

When Full Page is unavailable
Chrome restricts extensions from capturing some browser-controlled pages. Awesome Screenshot identifies pages such as chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store, settings pages, and other extensions’ pages as examples. Full Page and Selected Area may not be available there; changing the shortcut will not remove that restriction. See the vendor’s guidance on restricted pages.
- For a restricted page, try Visible Part or Entire Screen & App Window, then crop the capture if needed.
- For some cases, the vendor also points to its Windows and Mac desktop apps.
If a normal webpage capture fails or is incomplete
If Full Page is available but does not capture an ordinary webpage correctly, the vendor asks users to provide the page URL so it can investigate. Support may also request information from the page console and the extension’s service-worker console. There is no universal shortcut or reinstall fix for every page-specific failure.

If you do not need Awesome Screenshot’s particular annotation or sharing workflow, its vendor guide also documents Chrome DevTools’ Capture full size screenshot command and Chrome’s Print > Save as PDF route. These serve different outputs: DevTools can produce a full-page image, while printing saves a document.
