Capture the whole page with Chrome DevTools

Open DevTools using Chrome’s DevTools command or browser menu. If the Device Mode toolbar is missing, turn on the Device toolbar.

For a mobile-width image, choose a suitable responsive or device viewport in Device Mode. Chrome provides width presets for mobile, tablet, laptop, and 4K layouts. Choose the viewport that matches the presentation you need.

Open the saved image and check the top and bottom, text legibility, and any sticky or dynamically loaded sections before sharing it.
Choose the right capture mode
Capture a full size screenshot is the built-in choice when you need content beyond the current viewport. Capture screenshot records only the visible viewport. Device Mode simulates a viewport on a desktop; it is not a substitute for testing the page on an actual phone. Chrome describes Device Mode as a first-order approximation of the mobile experience. When the built-in capture is not enough
GoFullPage is an optional Chrome Web Store extension. Its listing says it can capture an entire page and download it as an image or PDF, and advertises support for complex pages, including inner scrollable elements and embedded iframes. Those are claims from the extension’s listing, not independently verified comparisons. The listing changelog shows version 8.9 dated 2026-09-24. GoFullPage in the Chrome Web Store
You do not need an extension for an ordinary full-page capture: Chrome’s DevTools command is built in. Neither method guarantees that every login-gated, dynamically loaded, nested-scroll, or site-specific section will appear as expected. Inspect the saved image; if a section is missing, try expanding it, waiting for it to load, or capturing the relevant area separately.

Protect payment and identity details before sharing
A help page or its surrounding content may include private information. Review the image before sending it and redact anything unnecessary, such as a name, phone number, UPI ID, QR code, transaction reference, or account identifier.
Chrome DevTools’ Privacy and security panel can show the page origin, HTTP security warnings, certificate details, and mixed content. That context can help you inspect the connection, but it does not prove in every respect that a payment support page is legitimate. Chrome DevTools: Security
