In Nimbus Screenshot, select Entire page to capture a whole webpage. If the Hindi text looks garbled, first check whether it is already wrong in your browser: a screenshot records what the browser rendered, and the documented Nimbus workflow does not include a setting that repairs Devanagari fonts, shaping, or encoding.
Capture the entire page in Nimbus Screenshot
- Open the webpage and let it finish rendering. Check that its Hindi text looks correct in the browser before capturing.
- Start Nimbus Screenshot using the extension button, the page’s context menu, or a configured hotkey.
- Choose Entire page (the older Nimbus article capitalizes “Page” in “Entire Page”). Nimbus’s official guide describes this mode as capturing the whole webpage: Nimbus Screenshot guide.
- Nimbus opens the capture in its editor. Review the result, then click Done if you do not need to edit it. The separate full-webpage article also describes choosing an action after capture, including saving. The available labels may change, so follow the current interface.
Nimbus’s published instructions explain capture and editor actions; they do not document a Nimbus-specific switch for fixing Hindi fonts, Devanagari shaping, or character encoding. Changing the capture mode alone is therefore not an established fix for garbled text.

Unicode distinguishes problems with font support, script shaping, and incorrect characters. The visible symptom helps narrow down where to look, but it cannot by itself confirm the cause on a particular website.

Choose a fix based on where the problem appears
If the browser page is already wrong
Do not assume Nimbus caused the problem: the capture reflects the page as rendered. For missing glyphs, the website may need a font with Devanagari coverage. For malformed but recognizable characters, the issue may involve shaping or font layout. For replacement characters or unrelated symbols, the website author may need to investigate the text’s encoding or an earlier conversion. These are general diagnostic possibilities from Unicode, not a confirmed diagnosis of any specific site.

If only the saved screenshot looks wrong
Compare the same text in the live browser page and the captured image. If the browser rendering is correct but the image differs, note the browser and operating system, Nimbus version, page URL, and a small reproducible example when reporting the issue to Nimbus. This is a practical way to make the difference clear, not a documented Nimbus support procedure.
If characters are missing
Check whether the website supplies a suitable web font or relies on fonts provided by the browser or operating system. A third-party Chrome Web Store listing called Hindi Font Pack describes a Devanagari fallback-font extension. Its listing reports version 3.0, updated June 5, 2024; it is not official Nimbus guidance, and the listing does not establish that it will fix a particular site. Treat it only as an optional experiment if the symptom points to missing font coverage.

If Hindi text is blurry on Windows in Chrome
Google recommends trying the ClearType Text Tuner. If that does not help, its instructions describe changing the Windows appearance option for smoothing screen fonts and reopening Chrome. These steps target fuzzy text; they are not a general remedy for missing Devanagari glyphs, incorrect shaping, or mojibake. Follow Google’s Chrome instructions for the Windows steps.
Check the result and troubleshoot capture problems
- The page is garbled before capture: diagnose the browser rendering first using the symptom guide above; changing Nimbus’s capture mode is not documented as a repair.
- The live page is correct but the image is not: reproduce the difference and record the browser, operating system, Nimbus version, URL, and affected text before contacting Nimbus.
- The full page is not captured: confirm that you selected Entire page, rather than a visible-area or selected-region mode, and let the page finish rendering before capture.
- You cannot find the exact save action: the published Nimbus workflow sends captures to its editor and says to click Done when no editing is needed; labels and available actions can change. Check Nimbus’s current guide for the interface you see.
- Only blur is present on Windows: use Google’s Chrome guidance for ClearType and font smoothing; do not expect those settings to repair encoding or font-coverage problems.
