What to do when the code is wrong, invalid or already used

The code is for the wrong product

Do not redeem it just to see what happens. Save the listing and receipt, then contact the retailer. The game does not appear after redemption

Confirm that you are viewing the same Microsoft account used during redemption, then check the account’s library and order history. Verify that the code granted a game rather than an add-on or subscription.
