Before purchasing, look for the latest notice covering your visit. Official directions describe an approximately 15-minute walk from the south exit of JR Mitaka Station or a community bus. Allow extra time for the timed entry window, queues, weather, and finding the stop. A ticket does not remove the need to follow the day’s entry instructions.
