How to buy SpaceX shares now
- Open your brokerage account and search for SPCX. SpaceX announced the ticker for its Class A common stock and a listing on Nasdaq Global Select Market and Nasdaq Texas. Check your broker’s current listing and order availability; access, fees and eligibility can vary, and no live quote is established here.
- Review the security details and confirm the result is SpaceX Class A common stock, rather than a similarly named product, private-market listing, token or fund.
- Check the live quote, order type, trading hours, fees and any account or market-access requirements shown by your broker before placing an order.
- Decide how much risk you can accept, then enter and review your order in the brokerage interface. A listing does not ensure a particular price or that an order will execute.
SpaceX announced an IPO price of $135 per share on June 11, 2026. That is a historical offering price, not the current market price. Its announcement said trading was expected to begin June 12 and the offering was expected to close June 15, subject to customary conditions; those dates described the launch at the time and are not upcoming events.

Can you still buy SpaceX shares before the IPO?
No: the IPO is no longer in the future. Anyone describing an offer as “pre-IPO SpaceX” needs to explain exactly what security is being sold and why the buyer can acquire it now. The available sources do not establish an active private SpaceX share offer.

A private-market listing, special-purpose vehicle (SPV), token or derivative is not automatically SpaceX common stock. Before considering one, verify the issuer and seller, the legal instrument and ownership rights, whether the company or transfer agent must approve a transfer, investor eligibility, fees and markups, and the ability to resell. Do not treat an intermediary’s claim of exposure as proof that you will own SpaceX shares directly.
What the past UK retail offer did—and did not—provide
SpaceX’s June 2026 SEC-filed disclosure described a UK retail offer through a public offer platform operated by Marex and participating intermediaries. It was limited to people who were both tax resident and located in the UK. It documents that route at that time; it does not establish that the offer remains open or that investors in the United States or other countries could use it.

The filing directed investors to the prospectus and offer disclosure, including the risk factors. SpaceX’s June 4 launch announcement likewise advised readers: “Before you invest, you should read the preliminary prospectus in that registration statement and any other documents SpaceX has filed with the SEC for more complete information about SpaceX and this offering.” Read the relevant current filings rather than relying on promotional summaries.
How private SpaceX-share claims differ from listed shares
Private placements are a general U.S. securities-law category, not evidence that SpaceX currently has a private offer. The SEC’s Office of Investor Education and Assistance warns that private-company information may not be publicly available, securities can have resale restrictions, and finding a buyer may be difficult. The SEC says: “Unlike with a publicly traded company, information about a private company is not typically available to the public, and a private company may not provide information to you or your buyer.”

Under the SEC’s general Regulation D guidance, Rule 506(b) prohibits general solicitation and can permit up to 35 financially sophisticated non-accredited investors in any 90-calendar-day period, subject to the rule’s requirements. Rule 506(c) allows general solicitation, but buyers must be accredited investors and the issuer must take reasonable steps to verify that status. These rules do not mean accreditation grants access to a particular SpaceX transaction.
The SEC bulletin gives examples of individual accredited-investor tests: income exceeding $200,000, or $300,000 with a spouse or spousal equivalent, in each of the prior two years with a reasonable expectation of the same in the current year; or net worth over $1 million, excluding the value of the primary residence under the bulletin’s calculation. These are U.S. SEC criteria, not a guarantee of eligibility for a specific offering, and investors should check current rules and transaction documents.

What to verify before placing an order or evaluating an offer
- For listed shares: Confirm the ticker, security type, live price, venue, order terms, fees and access rules with your brokerage.
- For a purported private transaction: Read the offering documents and establish what you legally receive—direct shares, an SPV interest, a contractual claim or something else.
- For transfer and resale: Check company or transfer-agent approval requirements, restrictions, eligibility conditions and whether a resale route actually exists.
- For costs and evidence: Identify all fees and markups, verify the seller’s authority and independently confirm ownership and transaction documents.
