Tickets are released in limited waves by category. A category that is sold out in one wave may return in a later wave, and some categories may not appear until a later wave. A sold-out label is therefore not necessarily the final word, but availability is not guaranteed.
The full tournament is scheduled for August 4–15, 2027; the four LANXESS arena playoff days are August 12–15. The 2027 playoffs are set to use a 360-degree stage for the first time at this event, so do not assume that a previous year’s seating choice or map will translate directly.
#1 Best Overall
- COMFORT THAT HOLDS UP IN LONG SESSIONS: High-density shaping foam keeps its loft instead of flattening out, so the cushion still supports you after a full workday or an all-evening gaming streak. The contoured backrest, removable headrest, and adjustable lumbar pillow line up your neck and lower back instead of letting you slump.
- BUILT WITH THE MONEY WHERE IT COUNTS: A 1.8 mm thick steel frame and a Class 3 gas lift carry the load, rather than the light-duty plastic bases common at this price. The upholstery is wear-resistant PU leather over high-density foam, and the rubber casters were run through a 1,000-mile rolling test on the hard floors this chair is built for.
- WHAT ADJUSTS, AND WHAT DOES NOT: Lean back anywhere from 90 to 155 degrees, or loosen the knob beneath the seat to rock while you think, and turn a full 360 degrees on the multi-direction casters to reach the rest of your setup. The padded armrests are fixed in place rather than height-adjustable.
- SIZED FOR REAL DESKS AND REAL BODIES: Seat height adjusts from 17.3 to 21.5 in., behind a 22.5 by 30.5 in. backrest and a 14.5 by 20.5 in. seat. The range runs low enough for most standard desks, and the tall back and roomy proportions suit bigger-framed adults who feel cramped in compact task chairs.
- ONE CHAIR FOR THE WHOLE SETUP: Park this chair in front of a PS5 or Xbox for console sessions, then roll over to a desk for remote work or coursework. The padded seat and tall back make a comfortable spot for streaming and video calls, and the clean racing-style lines suit a game room, dorm, apartment, or shared office.
Do IEM Cologne tickets have assigned seats?
It depends on the category. Upper, Lower, and Premium tickets are free seating within their designated areas; they do not guarantee a numbered seat. Lower Reserved and Plus include assigned seating in the Lower Ranks. Premium Reserved is intended to offer an assigned infield seat, but the organizer says it will be offered later, after the stage layout and seat plan are final.

How to choose a good seat for the 360-degree stage
Choose assigned seating if certainty matters
Lower Reserved or Plus is the straightforward choice if you want a seat assigned in advance in the Lower Ranks. Plus adds IEM+ and access to a presale for the next Cologne event. If you want an assigned infield seat, watch for Premium Reserved to open after the final layout is set; an existing Premium ticket may be upgradeable if seats remain.

Choose free seating if you value flexibility or price
Upper, Lower, and Premium let you choose from the remaining free seats in the category’s designated section rather than buying a particular numbered seat. Upper is the lower-priced published option; Lower puts you in the Lower Ranks; Premium gives access to the infield and its listed benefits, but still does not reserve a numbered place. Consider how early you can arrive and whether you are comfortable choosing from seats still available in your section.
Wait for the event map before judging sightlines
The stage-specific seating plan is the best guide to blocks and views once published. The arena’s general numbering guide is only orientation: 100-prefix places are in the interior floor area; 200- and 300-prefix places are lower-level business seats; 600-prefix places are the first upper level; 700-prefix places are the second upper level; and 400- and 500-prefix places are on the two box levels. Those labels do not establish a particular sightline for this esports setup. Use the event map and the ticket’s own section description, especially given the new 360-degree playoff stage. The LANXESS arena seating guide directs visitors to the hall plan for exact blocks and seats.

- Most Comfortable And Relaxing: Equipped with headrest and lumbar pillow. When your neck feels sore from gaming or working with head down for a long time, the headrest will relieve your fatigue. When tired from maintaining a same sitting posture, please rest assured to lean back and charge your waist pillow, it will relax your tired waist energetically.
- More Stable Than Others: Common gaming chairs are equipped with plastic legs generally to save costs, but we still insist on applying the same material as the built-in metal frame. No fear of high or low temperature, no fear of the sunshine, no fear of wind, it will not rust and break. Whether child rolls on the chair or a pet jumps up excitedly, the sturdy metal legs will keep the chair stable firmly.
- Liberate Your Feet: Will you feel tired for sitting all the time? Sure. Then you can choose the chair with footrest to relax your feet. When you don’t want to straighten your back and sit, just take out the footrest, put your feet up, turn on your favorite music, and start enjoying the comfort! And don’t worry about clean, it is also made of high-quality PU leather, just wipe it with a soft cloth and it will shine as new.
- Reject Short-Lived Chairs: We never hesitate to apply materials. Armrests must be padded from the position of the elbow to the wrist, built-in metal frame must be wider, and the foam under the leather must be rich, it can’t collapse as if we are sitting on a hard stone when leaning up. The chair has gone through thousands of rotation and sitting experiments before mass production. Sufficient and premium materials can ensure the chair to withstand long-term use.
- Worry-Free Purchase: A detailed instruction will be sent to you along with all accessories so that you can assemble the chair easily. Free replacement or refund within 30 days. Free replacement or repair within 1 year. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact us, we will do our best to make our customers satisfied.

LANXESS arena is in Deutz, about 750 metres—a roughly ten-minute walk—from Deutzer Bahnhof. The venue recommends allowing time for check-in, security, and ticket control. A ticket serves as a VRS public-transit pass only if the VRS logo is printed on it, so check your ticket rather than assuming transit is included. The venue also provides online booking for its P3 garage. Its general seating guide estimates about 18,000 spectator places and four parking garages with 2,800 spaces; these are approximate venue figures, not a guarantee of event capacity or available parking.
