There is no verified current best build for every Wartune Ultra class in the available official material. Use Knight’s durability, Mage’s magic damage and support, and Archer’s physical single-target damage as provisional role guides—not proven Ultra balance advice. Before spending upgrade materials, check the live skill descriptions, equipment stats, and mode-specific rules in your game.
Start with your class’s likely role
The role descriptions below come from a legacy Wartune class reference, not a current Ultra build guide. Use them to frame comparisons in your own version, then verify the values and effects in-game.

Knight: compare physical damage with staying power
The legacy reference describes Knight as a physical class with stronger physical than magical defense, built to endure attacks and reduce enemy effectiveness. It lists level-up gains of +2 Strength, +1 Armor, +2 Endurance, and +10 Charisma; those are legacy figures and should not be assumed to apply in Ultra. In current Ultra, compare the actual contribution of physical attack, defensive stats, and defensive or control skills before choosing upgrades.
Mage: weigh magical damage against support
The legacy reference characterizes Mage as a magical attacker with area damage and healing, relying on Magical Attack. Its listed gains—+3 Intellect, +1 Armor, +1 Endurance, and +10 Charisma—are likewise historical, not verified Ultra values. As a starting point, compare magical damage with the healing or other party-support value your current skills provide.

Archer: check single-target and area options
The legacy reference presents Archer as a physical attacker focused on single targets and reliant on Physical Attack. Its historical level-up gains are +3 Strength, +1 Armor, +1 Endurance, and +10 Charisma. The official 7Road Archer skill reference from 2021 lists a wider set of choices, including single-target attacks, attacks against multiple enemies, back-row attacks, debuffs, and support effects. It describes post-Knighthood Wartune skills, not a confirmed current Ultra skill bar, so use the live descriptions rather than treating its coefficients as current.
Choose stats and refinement by what your current build uses
A July 31, 2014 Equipment Refinement Guide for Wartune Hall of Heroes offers a useful historical framework, but it is not tested Ultra advice. It says to match refinement attributes to the build: the guide’s Crit setup seeks Crit, while its Will Destroyer setup avoids spending an attribute slot on Crit. It recommends MATK and Intelligence for Mage, and physical attack with related Strength or Power for Knight and Archer. Confirm that Ultra still uses these stat names and mechanics before acting on them.

The same guide puts offense ahead of broad Defense or Armor, then Endurance or health; it argues that Endurance usually yields more health than a low HP roll. It also suggests Block for a Will Destroyer Knight and Crit for a Crit build. Those priorities are specific to the old guide’s system, not universal rules for Ultra. Its practical general point is to prefer a relevant attribute at a lower level over an irrelevant one at a higher level, and to improve equipped items broadly before trying to perfect one. Do not treat its mention of Balens as a requirement to spend: the guide notes that ideal high-level refinements can be difficult without them, but current Ultra costs and progression are not established here.
Check the live equipment system before committing materials
A legacy equipment wiki describes eight equipment pieces and historical routes through the Blacksmith, Arena Shop, and Crypt Shop. It says blacksmith synthesis began every ten levels from level 20, arena sets appeared every ten levels from level 35 subject to honor and insignia, and crypt equipment required tokens and floor progress. These routes and slot counts have not been confirmed for current Ultra; use the equipment screens in your version instead.

Official Ultra update notices show why version checks matter. The V3.7 notice, announced January 19, 2026, describes Sylph Equipment upgrades from fully enhanced level-80 SSS rank to EX rank, a maximum equipment level of 90, and a selectable affix that boosts reforged attributes. The V3.8 notice, announced April 6, 2026, introduces Mighty Weapon forging, with Normal Forge using Mithril and Advanced Forge using Adamantite. The V4.0 notice, published June 20, 2026, says dungeon battles replace a Lord’s original character skills with dungeon default skills. These announcements establish changes in those updates, not that V4.0 remains the live version on October 7, 2026. The V3.7 notice itself says, “Please refer to the in-game version for the final release.”

When choosing between skills, refinements, or equipment, compare the actual alternatives in the mode you play. A setup that looks useful for one fight type may not suit another, especially where a mode changes skill behavior.

- Damage profile: Check whether the skill scales with physical or magical attack and whether it hits one target, several targets, or a particular row.
- Survival and support: Compare defensive or health gains with the healing, buffs, debuffs, or mitigation your skills provide.
- Build investment: Consider Crit versus Will Destroyer only if both choices and their effects are present in your current mode and version.
- Gear opportunity cost: Compare the displayed item stats and materials required before upgrading; historical shop descriptions do not establish today’s best route.
The available official notices and legacy guides do not establish current best-in-slot equipment, class win rates, or an optimal Knight, Mage, or Archer rotation. For exact coefficients and upgrade decisions, the live in-game description is the relevant check.
