Build your team around complementary jobs, the fight mode, and the Knights you actually own—not a supposed universally strongest roster. A durable front line, support, and damage dealers make a useful first draft, but formation, elemental interactions, control, and opening ability order can all change what works.
Is there one best team?
No single lineup is established as best for every player or mode. The official Google Play listing describes the game through six elements—Water, Fire, Air, Earth, Light, and Darkness—and four Knight types: Protector, Warrior, Assassin, and Skilled. It emphasizes attribute interactions, control skills, and formation, summing up its approach as “there is no strongest knight but only stronger formation.”

That is a practical way to think about team building: evaluate how the Knights work together and what the encounter asks of them. A lineup that suits your account, server, and target may be more useful than a copied roster that assumes different characters or investment.

As a general first draft, a beginner guide recommends two front-line tanks, one healer or buffer, and two damage sources. Treat this as a heuristic rather than a rule: adjust it to your available Knights and the enemy you face.

- Front-line protection: Place your most durable Protectors or other reliable frontliners where they can absorb pressure and give the rest of the team time to act.
- Damage: Include damage dealers suited to the encounter. Consider whether you need focused damage to finish a target or sustained output over a longer fight.
- Support and disruption: Use healing, buffs, control, or debuffs when your roster allows and they help the plan. Their value depends on the threat you need to answer.
- Interactions: Look at Knight types, elements, attribute interactions, and control skills together rather than judging each Knight in isolation.
The two-frontliner, support, and two-damage arrangement comes from a 2022 beginner guide, so use it as a starting shape—not current official doctrine or a guarantee of success.
Adapt the lineup to the mode
Do not assume one team will perform equally well in every activity. Community guides list different examples for boss fights and arena defense, illustrating how the goal changes with the mode. Those are lineup examples, not universal prescriptions.

Boss fights
For a boss, consider whether the team can survive a longer encounter while keeping damage going. Check whether its front line can protect the damage and support characters, and whether your chosen support or control effects contribute to that plan.

For arena defense, think about the opponents your team may face and whether its opening effects can disrupt a threat or protect the right ally. A lineup built for a predictable PvE encounter may not answer the same pressures in PvP.

Story stages and other challenges
Build for the actual stage or challenge rather than carrying over a lineup by habit. Reconsider survivability, damage, support, and control when the enemy or objective changes.
Check whether position changes the opening
A community mechanics analysis describes opening-skill order as depending on start order, with position resolving ties between allies. It also says normal action priority resumes after opening abilities, with factors such as speed, acceleration, and control affecting actions. This is a community analysis, not a guarantee for every game version.

If an important opening control or protection ability keeps resolving too late, try changing positions and compare the results in the same kind of fight. Treat position as something to test when opening order matters, rather than assuming that moving a Knight will always change the outcome.

Use meta examples with a server caveat
A guide published March 24, 2026, on ssloj.com discusses advanced China-version compositions organized around themes including Hades, ice, endurance, burst, and Milo. Its author describes the recommendations as one advanced player’s opinion and cautions that character release timing in other regions may differ. Use those ideas as possible composition directions or future roster-planning targets, not as a guaranteed answer for your server.
Community boss and arena lineup pages likewise show that teams vary by content, but they do not establish the best team for your roster, region, or balance context. Account-specific advice needs those details.
A practical way to refine your team
- Identify the task: Decide whether you are building for a boss, story stage, arena defense, or another challenge.
- Draft around roles: Begin with a durable front line, damage sources, and useful support or control. The two-frontliner, healer-or-buffer, two-damage setup is one reasonable first draft.
- Check interactions: Consider elements, Knight types, attribute interactions, and control effects as parts of the same formation.
- Test the opening: If opening abilities are important, try position changes and observe whether the sequence improves.
- Reassess for the next mode: Keep a different lineup where the next encounter calls for a different balance of survival, damage, support, or disruption.
If you want advice for a particular account, include your server, the mode or opponent, and the Knights you have available. Without that context, a specific “best team” recommendation risks being irrelevant to your game.
