To broadcast a Bengali podcast archive continuously, prepare episodes you have the rights to rebroadcast, arrange them in a playlist, and send that program to a YouTube Live stream through an encoder or a cloud playout service. A local setup needs a computer, power, and internet connection running; a cloud service can play uploaded episodes from its servers. Plan separately for YouTube replays: streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, but a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all.
Prepare the Bengali podcast archive
Build a playlist in listening order
Select the episodes you intend to rebroadcast and arrange them in the order listeners should hear them. Decide whether the sequence should repeat in order or shuffle. A short title card or slate can tell viewers that the broadcast is an archive and identify the channel; these are practical editorial choices, not YouTube requirements.

Clear every component before rebroadcasting
Check the rights for the full recording, not just the podcast episode as a whole. Intros and outros, music beds, guest voices, inserted clips, artwork, and other third-party material may have separate rights. YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions require the creator to hold the rights needed for the live content on Google services, including music licensing rights.

Choose how to keep the program playing
For a hands-on setup, run an encoder and playlist or playout system on a local computer. For an always-on YouTube stream without a computer running at home, StreamNeo is the first cloud option to consider: it loops uploaded videos from the cloud, supports any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day.
| Approach | What stays running | What to weigh |
|---|---|---|
| Local encoder and playlist | Your computer, encoder, power, and internet connection | Direct control, but each local component can interrupt continuity. YouTube documents encoder setup, not a native permanent prerecorded-playlist loop procedure. |
| Cloud playout service | The provider’s playout system | Can keep the creator’s computer off; check current service limits, playlist and restart behavior, outage handling, and terms. A vendor’s description is not a YouTube endorsement or a guarantee of uninterrupted service. |
| Scheduled shorter sessions | An encoder or cloud playout system, restarted between sessions | May make individual YouTube replays more practical, but YouTube does not promise every session will be archived. Keep a separate recording if preservation matters. |
Upstream describes a cloud workflow that uploads content, arranges a playlist, and loops it continuously on its servers. Its FAQ says the free plan includes 24 streaming hours monthly and that a channel streaming all month needs a paid plan with unlimited streaming hours. Those are Upstream’s own statements and may change; check its 24/7 playout page and FAQ for current terms. Neither those vendor pages nor YouTube documentation establishes guaranteed uninterrupted operation or monetization for this format.

Set encoder video, audio, and network settings
Use YouTube’s current encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions guidance as the reference for your chosen resolution and frame rate. For a podcast archive with a static or gently animated visual, choose a setting your computer and upload connection can sustain; there is no need to assume a high resolution if the program does not benefit from it.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Protocol: YouTube recommends RTMPS.
- Rate control: Use constant bitrate (CBR).
- Keyframes: Set a two-second interval; do not exceed four seconds.
- Video codecs: YouTube lists H.264, H.265/HEVC, and AV1 among supported codecs.
- Audio codecs: For RTMP/RTMPS, YouTube lists AAC or MP3.
- Upload capacity: YouTube recommends about 20% upload-bandwidth headroom above the total streaming bitrate.
Do not select a bitrate solely because a preset offers it. Match the bitrate to the resolution and frame rate you chose, and test the full setup on the actual connection before relying on it for a long broadcast.
Test the stream and keep it operational

Set up the encoder stream ahead of the intended broadcast and preview it in YouTube’s Live Control Room.

Plan how you will detect and recover from power interruptions, encoder restarts, and connection failures. A long-running stream still needs monitoring and a recovery plan.
Understand YouTube’s replay limit
YouTube Help says, “If your live stream is less than 12 hours, YouTube can automatically archive it for you.” It also warns, “If your stream exceeds 12 hours, it may not be captured at all.” See Archive live streams. A single 24/7 broadcast is therefore not a dependable way to create one complete replay.
If individual replayable sessions matter, consider ending and restarting the broadcast before it reaches 12 hours. YouTube’s guidance does not promise that every shorter session will be archived successfully, so keep a local recording when you need a preservation copy. Estimate storage from the recording bitrate and the number of hours you intend to retain; YouTube does not prescribe a particular drive capacity or model.

Quick Recap
Troubleshoot common problems
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| You cannot start a live stream | The channel is not verified, has a live-streaming restriction, or first-time live enablement is still processing. | Check channel verification and restrictions, then allow up to 24 hours for initial enablement as YouTube advises. |
| YouTube does not receive the encoder feed | The stream URL or key was copied incorrectly, or the key was changed. | Copy the current URL and key from the Live Control Room into the encoder. If the key may have been exposed, reset it and update the encoder. |
| The feed buffers or disconnects | The upload connection may not have enough stable capacity for the total bitrate. | Check the connection and lower the encoder bitrate or resolution if needed. Leave about 20% upload headroom above total streaming bitrate, as YouTube recommends. |
| The stream is interrupted over copyrighted material | Content ID may identify music or other third-party material; a license may not be enough if the rights holder has not allowlisted the channel. | Review the rights for the identified material and YouTube’s live copyright guidance. Do not assume podcast ownership clears embedded material. |
| A long stream has no complete YouTube replay | Streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. | Keep a local recording, and use shorter sessions if replays are important. Shorter sessions are not guaranteed to archive successfully. |
| Playback becomes silent, stuck, or stops after the playlist ends | The source file, playlist sequence, encoder, computer, power, or network may have failed. | Check playback and playlist behavior during a test, then monitor the live output and arrange a restart or recovery process for the selected setup. |
