In Samsung Browser, open the webpage and tap the star in the address bar to bookmark it. Tap the star-shaped bookmark-list icon in the bottom toolbar to find saved pages. You can create folders to organize them, and Samsung documents separate options for syncing, backup and restore, and access through Chrome.
How to bookmark a webpage

Open Samsung Browser on your Galaxy phone and go to the webpage you want to save.

Tap the star icon in the address bar. Samsung says this saves the current page as a bookmark. Samsung’s guide to using Samsung Browser has the current US instructions.

Where to find saved bookmarks
Tap the star-shaped bookmark-list icon in the bottom toolbar to open your saved pages. The bookmark-list icon is separate from the star in the address bar, which saves the page you are viewing. Samsung’s navigation bar guide describes where the bookmark control appears.

How to organize bookmarks into folders
Create a folder

Open the bookmark list.

Tap More options (the three-dot menu), then choose Create folder.

Enter a folder name and create it. Samsung’s Browser instructions document this route.

Move bookmarks into a folder
In Samsung’s documented editing flow, open the bookmark list and choose More options > Edit. Select the bookmarks to move, tap Move, choose the destination folder, and confirm. The detailed steps appear in Samsung’s Spanish-language Galaxy Browser guide; menu wording and availability can vary by app version.

Samsung’s editing instructions also describe opening More options > Edit, selecting a bookmark, changing its name or address, and saving the change. If your screen does not offer those controls, check the options available in your installed Browser version.

Sync, back up, or access bookmarks another way
These options serve different purposes: sync keeps supported browser data in step across Samsung devices, Smart Switch is documented for backup and restore, and Samsung’s Chrome extension provides access to bookmarks in Samsung Browser and Chrome. Samsung describes the latter two options in its Samsung Browser FAQ.

Choose Sync with Samsung and follow the sign-in or setup prompts. Samsung lists bookmarks, history, and settings among the data that can sync.

Sync is not the same as a one-time backup: use Samsung’s Smart Switch route when your goal is to back up or restore Browser data, rather than simply keeping data synchronized.

Why your menus may look different
Samsung’s newer US support pages call the app “Samsung Browser,” while older material may call it “Samsung Internet.” The app name and menu labels can therefore differ from instructions you find for another release. Samsung also says available screens and settings may vary by wireless service provider, software version, and device model; see its Galaxy app-shortcuts guidance.
Dragging bookmarks into folders is documented on Samsung’s One UI 4.1.1 features page. Treat that as a version-specific interaction, not a gesture guaranteed to appear on every phone. The general folder and editing paths above use Samsung’s Browser support instructions.
