Book Tirumala darshan only through the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) portal: ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in. First identify your intended visit month and ticket category, then check TTD’s latest quota-release notice and the live availability shown on the portal. Release dates and times change by month and category, so treat every dated schedule as specific to that quota—not as a permanent annual timetable.
Use TTD’s official booking website
TTD’s quota notices direct devotees to book darshan tickets, sevas and accommodation through https://ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in only. Type the address yourself or use a saved bookmark. Do not rely on social-media links, agents claiming to be official, or pages that imitate the TTD design.

The portal is the authority for the transaction. It displays the categories currently open, the dates that still have quota, and the terms that apply at the time you book. TTD’s published notices establish the official domain and release schedules, but they do not establish a permanent screen-by-screen process, a universal identity-document list, or a fixed list of payment methods. Follow the prompts and guidance visible on the live site when you book.

Why you must check the quota notice for your month
TTD releases quotas in batches. The release date and time depend on both the month of the intended visit and the category selected. A date announced for one month cannot be carried forward as a yearly rule. Check a fresh TTD notice immediately before the release and again before paying, because arrangements can be revised.

Example: October 2026 quota notice
In a notice dated July 12, 2026, TTD announced October 2026 quotas. Special Entry Darshan tickets were scheduled for online release on July 24 at 10:00 a.m. Accommodation for Tirumala and Tirupati was scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on the same day. The notice also listed earlier release times for seva tickets and other categories. These times applied to the October 2026 quota only.
Example: December 2026 quota notice
In a notice dated September 12, 2026, TTD announced December 2026 quotas. Special Entry Darshan was scheduled for September 24 at 10:00 a.m., with accommodation at 3:00 p.m. TTD scheduled SRIVANI tickets for September 23 at 11:00 a.m. This later notice demonstrates why you must use the notice for the month you actually plan to visit.
| Intended visit month | Category or service | Published release example | What the example means |
|---|---|---|---|
| October 2026 | Special Entry Darshan | July 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. | Applicable to the October 2026 quota announced July 12, 2026; not a standing yearly date. |
| October 2026 | Tirumala/Tirupati accommodation | July 24, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. | Accommodation had a separate release time from darshan. |
| December 2026 | SRIVANI | September 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. | Published in TTD’s September 12, 2026 notice for the December quota. |
| December 2026 | Special Entry Darshan | September 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. | Released on a different date from the October example. |
| December 2026 | Accommodation | September 24, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. | Separate accommodation timing in the same December notice. |
Use these figures only as dated examples. Before booking, locate TTD’s newest quota announcement for your target month and category and confirm the live calendar on the portal.

The category determines which quota, eligibility conditions and release window apply. Select the route that matches your circumstances rather than assuming every ticket is ordinary Special Entry Darshan.
Rank #2
Special Entry Darshan
Special Entry Darshan is a distinct online quota. TTD’s October and December 2026 notices each scheduled its release at 10:00 a.m., but on different dates because the intended visit months differed. The portal’s current description and available dates control what can be booked.
SRIVANI
SRIVANI tickets have separate allocation rules and release arrangements. They should not be treated as another name for Special Entry Darshan. Read the current SRIVANI information on the portal and the latest TTD announcement before attempting this route.
Senior citizen, persons with disabilities and chronic-disease tokens
TTD lists tokens or booking options for senior citizens, persons with disabilities and devotees with chronic disease. Eligibility and documentation requirements can change. Use the live category description and follow the instructions presented for the relevant visitor.

Arjitha Sevas and other seva-related bookings may have their own quotas and release times. TTD’s notices list these separately from darshan. If your purpose is a seva rather than a darshan-only visit, use the seva route and its specific notice instead of relying on the Special Entry schedule.
Rank #3
Accommodation
Accommodation is not the same transaction as a darshan ticket. TTD may release rooms at a different time on the same day, as the October and December examples show. Check the accommodation quota separately if you need a room.
| Option | When it may fit | Release timing | What is not established by the notices |
|---|---|---|---|
| Special Entry Darshan | Visitors seeking the standard paid darshan category shown in the live portal. | Month-specific; October and December 2026 examples were both 10:00 a.m. on different dates. | Current price, queue duration and availability. |
| SRIVANI | Visitors who meet the current SRIVANI route or allocation conditions. | Separate schedule; December 2026 example was September 23 at 11:00 a.m. | A permanent timetable or universal eligibility. |
| Senior citizen/persons with disabilities/chronic disease | Visitors who qualify under the applicable category. | Category- and notice-specific. | Current documents and exact age or medical criteria. |
| Seva options | Visitors booking an Arjitha Seva or another listed seva. | Often released separately from darshan. | Current quota, price and participation rules. |
| Accommodation | Visitors needing a Tirumala or Tirupati room. | Separate accommodation release, such as 3:00 p.m. in the 2026 examples. | Room inventory, tariff and cancellation terms. |
Step-by-step: booking a darshan ticket online
The sequence below describes the decisions you need to make without assuming interface labels that TTD may change.
- Fix the intended visit month and preferred dates. Keep alternate dates ready. A quota notice is organized around the visit month, not merely the date you happen to open the site.
- Identify the correct category. Decide whether you need Special Entry Darshan, SRIVANI, a senior-citizen/persons-with-disabilities/chronic-disease option, a seva, or another route shown by TTD.
- Find TTD’s latest quota-release notice. Confirm the release date and time for that month and category. Do not reuse a date from an older notice or a different month.
- Open the official portal. Go to ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in and use the current darshan-booking path presented there. If the site displays a revised service name, follow the current label rather than an old guide.
- Complete the portal’s current account or visitor prompts. Enter information exactly as requested. The available notices do not establish a universal account flow or identity-document checklist, so use the live instructions and any current TTD guidance.
- Select an available date and quota. Check that the date, category and number of visitors match your plan. Availability shown on the calendar is live and can change while you are booking.
- Read the terms before payment. Verify the visit date, category, visitor details, reporting instructions and any eligibility statements displayed by TTD. Do not proceed on the assumption that a historical rule still applies.
- Submit payment using the methods currently offered by the portal. The reviewed notices do not establish a complete, current payment-method list. Use only the payment page reached through the official domain.
- Wait for the booking result and preserve the confirmation. Save or print the confirmation details exactly as TTD provides them. Keep the transaction reference and any instructions available for the visit.
- Recheck the booking conditions before travelling. TTD can publish updated guidance after a quota is released. Use the portal or current official notice for any change affecting reporting, eligibility or entry.
SRIVANI: separate allocation rules and dated figures
SRIVANI requires extra care because TTD has issued more than one arrangement during 2026. A January 6, 2026 announcement described online current booking on a trial basis beginning January 9: tickets were released daily at 9:00 a.m., booking was open until 2:00 p.m., and same-day reporting was at 4:00 p.m. That announcement described a one-month trial, so those terms alone should not be treated as the current policy.
A later TTD announcement dated May 29, 2026 described revised allocation effective June 10, 2026 through March 31, 2027. Under that dated arrangement, TTD stated that 1,500 SRIVANI tickets were available online daily, including 500 advance tickets released three months ahead. It also described 200 current-booking tickets at Tirupati Airport and a 300-ticket daily earmark for eligible donors who had contributed Rs. 10,000 and were awaiting darshan. TTD said the donor facility applied to eligible donations made on or after May 1, 2025.
| SRIVANI element | Figure or condition in TTD’s May 29, 2026 announcement | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Total online allocation | 1,500 tickets per day | Revised arrangement stated to run from June 10, 2026 through March 31, 2027. |
| Advance online tickets | 500 per day | Released three months ahead, according to that announcement. |
| Current booking at Tirupati Airport | 200 tickets | Allocation described for the airport current-booking route. |
| Eligible-donor earmark | 300 tickets per day | For eligible donors awaiting darshan under the stated arrangement. |
| Donor contribution threshold | Rs. 10,000 | Applies with the announcement’s eligibility conditions, including qualifying donations made on or after May 1, 2025. |
| Release and darshan timing | Release at 9:00 a.m.; darshan at 4:00 p.m. for bookings made before 1:00 p.m. | Use the live SRIVANI page to confirm that these terms still apply. |
These numbers are operational allocations from a dated TTD announcement, not a guarantee that tickets will remain available. Check the live SRIVANI page immediately before attempting a booking, especially if you are relying on the airport, donor or advance route.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What to verify before you pay
- The web address is ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in.
- Your intended visit month matches the quota notice you used.
- The category is correct for every visitor, particularly for SRIVANI or concessionary tokens.
- The selected date and quota are still displayed as available.
- Names, dates and other visitor information match the details you entered.
- Any eligibility, reporting or timing statement shown on the live portal has been read and understood.
- The final amount and transaction terms shown by TTD are acceptable before you submit payment.
- You can retain the confirmation page or reference after the transaction.
If no date is available or a transaction fails
No quota appears
First confirm that you are looking at the correct month and category. Then check whether TTD has announced a later release window or revised allocation. A missing date is not evidence that a different category can be used; change categories only when the visitor genuinely meets that category’s conditions.
The page changes during booking
Refresh through the official portal and reassess the live availability rather than relying on an earlier screen. Avoid paying twice for the same intended visit unless the portal clearly shows that the first attempt failed and no booking was created.
Payment appears unsuccessful
Record the transaction information displayed by the portal, check whether a confirmation was generated, and use current TTD support instructions on the official site. Do not assume that a failed attempt automatically means no money was debited or that a refund has a particular timetable.
Historical FAQ information conflicts with the current portal
TTD’s online-services FAQ is dated June 4, 2016. It said children under 12 did not need tickets, referred to Aadhaar identification for a child, stated that failed transactions were refunded within seven working days, and mentioned Indian credit or debit cards for online bookings. Those statements are historical context, not unqualified present-day instructions. Confirm the current child policy, payment methods and failed-transaction support on the live TTD site.
Planning around a release time
For a scheduled release, prepare before the published time: decide the category, keep alternative dates, review the notice, and open the official portal. At the release time, use the category-specific route rather than assuming all quotas open together. The October 2026 examples separated Special Entry Darshan at 10:00 a.m. from accommodation at 3:00 p.m.; the December 2026 notice separated SRIVANI on September 23 from Special Entry Darshan and accommodation on September 24.
Because TTD does not publish a universal success rate, queue duration or availability guarantee in the notices considered here, no one can promise that arriving at the release time will produce a ticket. The practical safeguard is to verify the latest notice and live quota, use the official domain, and avoid unofficial payment requests.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsKey takeaways
- Start at ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in, TTD’s named booking website.
- Match your visit month and category to the latest quota-release notice.
- Treat every release date and time as a dated announcement, not a permanent annual schedule.
- Keep SRIVANI separate from Special Entry Darshan and verify its current allocation and eligibility.
- Use the live portal for account, identity, payment, child-policy and transaction-support details because older or general guidance may be outdated.
