Set up a Urlbox screenshot workflow

full_page=truefor the scrollable page, or a CSSselectorto capture a specific element. The selector option can be configured to fail if the element is missing. - Configure loading behavior. For content that appears after scrolling, choose full-page stitch mode, which scrolls to trigger lazy-loaded elements before capturing sections. A
wait_forselector can wait for an element to appear;wait_to_leavecan wait for a loading indicator to disappear. Use a condition that reflects the page’s actual behavior, then inspect the image. - Make the workflow repeatable. For a batch or schedule, process each URL as a separate job. Keep the input URL and capture time with each output, and explicitly handle errors and page-layout changes. This record-keeping is implementation advice, not a Urlbox guarantee.

Account for overlays and automated-browser detection
Urlbox documents options to hide cookie banners, attempt to click an accept button, press Escape, and block ads or selected URLs. These settings change what is visible in the capture. Use them only when the intended record and applicable consent requirements support that choice; accepting or removing an overlay may not represent the page as a visitor encountered it.
Urlbox also documents use_stealth and hide_headless options and notes that some options have plan requirements. Their existence does not establish permission to bypass a marketplace’s access controls or guarantee a successful render. Check current documentation and plan availability before configuring them.
What to verify before scheduling Amazon.in or Flipkart captures
The available Urlbox documentation describes general rendering options; it does not provide a verified compatibility matrix for Indian marketplaces, a measured success rate, a marketplace-approved API route or current platform-specific rules. We do not follow links or spider a site.” It says signed requests honor robots.txt for the Urlbox product token, falling back to the * group. That describes Urlbox’s request behavior; it does not determine whether a marketplace permits your use or ensure that a page will render. Troubleshooting a capture workflow
- The screenshot is blank or incomplete: check the returned result and try a wait condition tied to content that should appear. If the page lazy-loads while scrolling, test stitch mode and inspect the result rather than assuming all sections loaded.
- A selector capture fails: confirm the element exists on the exact product page and locale, and that the selector still matches the current layout. The reviewed docs do not provide marketplace-specific selectors.
- Fixed bars or overlays obscure content: decide whether the overlay belongs in the record. If not, test the documented hide, click, Escape or blocking options and review the changed capture.
- Automated-browser detection prevents a render: Urlbox documents stealth-related options, but they do not ensure access or establish permission. Check the target site’s rules and Urlbox’s current plan requirements; do not treat an option as a guarantee.
