You can build a Make scenario that takes an Amazon.in product-page URL from a trigger, passes it to a screenshot action, then routes the resulting image to storage or a notification. Make lists two documented capture routes: HTML/CSS to Image with “Create a Screenshot of a URL,” and the vendor-maintained GetScreenshot integration with “Take Screenshot” and “Take Element Screenshot.” Those listings establish that the actions exist, not that a particular setup will capture Amazon.in reliably; test a small set of URLs you are authorized to capture before relying on it.
What the Make scenario does
A Make scenario is a workflow made from connected modules. For this task, it needs three stages: a trigger that supplies an Amazon.in URL, a screenshot action that receives that URL, and a destination that accepts the resulting image file. The exact fields and mappings depend on the modules currently available in your Make account.

Make’s HTML/CSS to Image integration catalog lists “Create a Screenshot of a URL.” Make also lists GetScreenshot, whose available actions include “Take Screenshot” and “Take Element Screenshot.” The latter requires a CSS selector. These are purpose-built screenshot actions; Make’s HTTP “Make a request” action sends HTTP requests or downloads web pages and is not, by itself, a browser renderer.
Choose a capture route
| Route | What Make documents | What to check in your account |
|---|---|---|
| HTML/CSS to Image | A “Create a Screenshot of a URL” action is listed in Make’s integration catalog. | Current module configuration, output mapping, page-load and rendering settings, and whether the resulting image shows the intended Amazon.in page. |
| GetScreenshot | The vendor-maintained integration lists webpage and element screenshot actions. Its Make page also describes scheduled capture and image delivery or storage workflows. | Current plans and quotas, browser options, retention, Amazon.in behavior, and permissions for retaining or sharing the output. |
The documented material does not provide a head-to-head benchmark or establish the providers’ current quotas, costs, failure handling, or performance on Amazon.in. Check those details in the current module and provider documentation before choosing a route for a production workflow.

Build the scenario
- Prepare the URL source. Put the Amazon.in product URLs in a spreadsheet, database, or another supported source, or arrange for an app to send URLs to a custom webhook. Use a source and trigger available to your Make account.
- Create a scenario and select a trigger. In Make, create a scenario and add the module that will start each run. A custom webhook can receive URLs from another app; a schedule-based trigger is described on the GetScreenshot integration page. Configure the trigger so each run supplies one URL.
- Add the screenshot action. Choose HTML/CSS to Image’s “Create a Screenshot of a URL,” or add GetScreenshot’s “Take Screenshot.” For a specific part of a page, choose “Take Element Screenshot” and provide a CSS selector for the target element.
- Map the URL into the action. Map the URL output from the trigger to the screenshot action’s URL input. Confirm that the mapped value is a complete Amazon.in product-page URL rather than a title, ASIN alone, or a link to a different destination.
- Send the result to a destination. Connect the screenshot action’s returned file to a storage or notification module available in your account. Make’s HTTP integration also lists a file-download action, but use the screenshot module’s returned file or documented output mapping where applicable; the HTTP request action does not render the page into an image.
- Run a controlled test. Process a small sample of URLs you are authorized to capture. Open each returned image and verify the product, page extent, viewport, locale, and rendering state. The integration listings do not promise Amazon-specific results or a particular full-page behavior.
- Add operating safeguards. Log the original URL and capture time, set a sensible run frequency, and arrange failure alerts or handling in the scenario. These controls help you identify missing or unusable outputs; the cited integration descriptions do not establish a particular retry policy or failure-reporting behavior.
Decide between a whole-page and element screenshot
Whole-page capture
Use the URL screenshot action when you need an image of the page rather than one component. Check the actual output for the required page extent and content: the catalog descriptions do not establish that a particular configuration will capture all of an Amazon.in product page or load every element as expected.
Element capture
GetScreenshot’s “Take Element Screenshot” action is the documented route for capturing one page element and requires a CSS selector. Confirm that the selector matches the intended element on the rendered page and inspect the output. A selector-based capture can fail to meet your needs if the target element is absent or the page renders differently than expected.

Check permission before scaling or publishing
Technical ability to capture a page does not grant permission to download, retain, modify, reuse, or publish its contents. Amazon India’s Sell on Amazon Terms of Use state that users may not “systematically extract / or re-utilize parts of the contents of the website” without express written consent from Amazon or its affiliates, and describe limits on downloading, modifying, commercial use, and data-mining or similar extraction tools. Those are terms on the Sell on Amazon site; check the exact terms applicable to your Amazon.in use and obtain appropriate permission before systematic capture or reuse.
If your use involves Associates links or Amazon materials, review the current Amazon.in Associates agreement and applicable program rules. The agreement provides a limited license for Product Advertising Content, tied to program purposes and requirements; it is not blanket permission to screenshot, scrape, or republish product pages. Verify image and content rights, disclosure requirements, and destination-link rules independently.

Amazon’s Selling Partner API is not established by the cited onboarding documentation as a rendered-page screenshot service. Its onboarding material describes authorized, role-controlled access to selling-platform operations, so do not substitute it for a browser screenshot action.

Troubleshoot a Make capture
- No image reaches the destination: Inspect the screenshot module’s output and confirm the destination is mapped to the returned file, not only a URL or text field. Check the scenario run for a failed module and verify the destination accepts the file type produced.
- The screenshot shows the wrong page: Check the trigger’s URL value and the mapped field. Confirm the run is using the intended Amazon.in URL and inspect redirects or the resulting page before treating the file as a valid capture.
- The image is incomplete or renders unexpectedly: Check the screenshot action’s current page-load and rendering options, if available, and run another small controlled test. The documented integration descriptions do not guarantee a particular load state, viewport, or Amazon.in rendering result.
- An element screenshot misses its target: Verify that the CSS selector matches the target element in the rendered page and that the element is present when the action runs.
- A run is blocked or fails: Check the Make run details and the provider’s current failure output and retry options. Do not assume a specific error format or automatic retry behavior from the integration listing alone.
- Runs are too frequent or outputs are difficult to audit: Review the trigger schedule, add a practical cadence, and record the source URL and capture time alongside the file.
Plan for reliability, performance, and cost
The available Make descriptions establish screenshot actions but do not state the two providers’ current quotas, per-run costs, response times, retention periods, or Amazon.in success rates. Check those terms with the provider before estimating a recurring workflow. For reliability, test authorized sample URLs, validate each output, record failures, and verify whether the provider and Make scenario expose retry and error-handling controls that fit your use case. Keep capture frequency proportionate to the need and confirm permission before increasing volume or distributing images.
