Check the saved file: official guidance explains how to print, but does not guarantee every status field or remark will appear. Other Indian scholarship portals may use different steps.
Use the NSP route for the correct academic year
The National Scholarship Portal is the working example here, not a universal route for every central, state, or institution scholarship. The Government Services Portal describes NSP as supporting application, processing, sanction, and disbursal, and says students can apply and track application status online: Government Services Portal: National Scholarship Portal.

- Go to the official NSP student page, rather than relying on an unofficial status lookup or a search-result link.
- Choose the route that matches the application year. NSP says that an OTR ID and password are used to fill and check fresh and renewal applications from AY 2024–25 onward. Its page separately lists an application-status route for AY 2022–23 and AY 2023–24. Follow the current portal labels for your application; do not assume one login route applies to every year.
- Open the status view, identified in the NSP interface as “Track Student Application Status,” and wait for the visible fields and remarks to finish loading.
Keep OTR credentials, passwords, Aadhaar details, and other private identifiers out of any copy you plan to share publicly. Redact an application identifier before sharing if it could identify you or expose account information.
Print the status page to PDF in Chrome
Google Chrome Help documents the following print workflow. The controls are specific to Chrome; another browser or a portal’s own interface may differ.

Desktop: Windows, Linux, or Mac
- With the status page open, press Ctrl+P on Windows or Linux, or Command+P on Mac. Google also documents the menu route: File → Print.
- In the print dialog, choose Save as PDF when it is available as the destination.
- Review the preview before saving. Check whether the status, remarks, year, and any visible date or context are present and legible.
- Save the PDF, then open the saved file and inspect it again.
Android
- In Chrome, open the page’s menu and select More → Share → Print.
- Choose Save as PDF and select a location on the device.
- Open the saved file to verify what it contains.

Verify the saved PDF before relying on it
A PDF records a rendering of the page at the time you printed it. The official sources do not establish that every protected status page will print all fields, dates, or dynamic remarks, so treat the saved document as a copy of what you verified—not as proof that omitted information does not exist.

- Confirm that the correct academic year and application context are visible.
- Check that the status text and latest visible remark appear in the PDF.
- Make sure the relevant date or other identifying context is present if the page displayed it.
- Confirm that private details are protected before sharing the file.
If expected content is missing, reopen the official status view and allow it to load, then print a fresh copy. If the information still does not appear, follow the portal’s support instructions. Do not edit the PDF in a way that changes or implies a different application status.

Do not confuse application status with payment status
An application-status PDF is not proof that a scholarship payment was made. NSP directs users to the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) for disbursement tracking. Use the relevant PFMS service to check payment progress separately; see the NSP student page for its payment-tracking direction.

Do not send OTR credentials, passwords, Aadhaar information, or private application data to an automated service unless you have confirmed that doing so is appropriate and authorized. An automated capture is not a replacement for checking the resulting file or for the official application and payment records.
