For a reliable record, save the exchange-provided filing attachment separately, then print the announcement webpage to PDF if the page itself matters. The attachment preserves the document supplied with the filing; the browser PDF records how the announcement appeared when you viewed it. Keep the page URL and capture date with both files.
Find the official exchange filing
Search the company’s announcements or filings on the relevant exchange website, using its name or security identifier to locate the record. BSE corporate announcement pages can include announcement details and PDF attachments. BSE Listing Centre and NSE NEAPS are named as corporate filing systems, but the interface and page paths may change; confirm you are on the live official exchange site before saving anything.

Open the individual announcement, not just a search-results page. Note the filing title or description, company/security identifier, and exchange. Direct access to BSE pages may not always work in every environment, so if a page fails to load, try the exchange site directly in a desktop browser rather than treating a search-result snippet as the record.

If the announcement provides a PDF attachment, download it as a separate file before printing the webpage. It is the issuer- or exchange-provided filing document, not a printout of the announcement page. Corporate announcements may be filed as searchable PDFs, but check the specific document: its text may not be searchable, and its layout or content should be verified after download.

Keep the attachment unchanged. If you also make a browser-generated PDF, give it a distinct filename so the two record types cannot be confused.
Print the announcement page to PDF in Chrome
- Open the individual filing announcement in Chrome on your desktop computer. Wait for the page content you need to appear.
- Open Print using Ctrl+P on Windows or Linux, or ⌘+P on Mac. You can also use File > Print.
- In the print dialog, choose Save as PDF from the destination menu, if that option is available.
- Inspect the preview before saving. Check that the announcement title, relevant details, and any visible status information are present; look for clipped content, unwanted blank pages, headers or footers, and awkward page breaks.
- Adjust the available print settings if needed, then save the PDF locally.
These steps follow Google’s general Chrome printing instructions; they do not guarantee that every exchange page will render identically in print preview. If an important field or part of the announcement is missing, do not treat the PDF as a complete webpage record.

Keep the record traceable
Use a descriptive filename, for example Company_Exchange_FilingTitle_YYYY-MM-DD.pdf. Keep a short text note or folder record with each saved item containing:
- The exact announcement page URL.
- The exchange and company or security identifier.
- The filing title or announcement description.
- The date you captured the page and downloaded the attachment.
- Whether the file is the original attachment or a browser-generated webpage PDF.
This is practical recordkeeping advice, not a universal regulatory format. If a filing’s version status matters, check the exchange listing for a revised or cancelled record and preserve the relevant version details. One saved webpage PDF reflects the page at capture time; it does not automatically update if the exchange later changes the record.

Choose the right record for the job

For many records, retaining both the original attachment and a webpage PDF gives more useful context than either alone. The attachment captures the filing document; the webpage PDF captures the announcement presentation and surrounding details visible on the page.
Optional second copy
Google’s Chrome Help also describes saving a PDF and uploading it to Google Drive. Cloud storage can serve as an optional second-copy location; it is not required for creating a local PDF.
