Exit the app before disconnecting so the changes save. For a documented dead-zone change, Nacon’s FPS Pro mode disables the joystick dead zone, but it can expose stick drift.

Launch the app and follow the on-screen instructions to customize the profile.
-
Exit the app to save your changes. Nacon says changes will not save if you turn off or disconnect the controller before exiting.
Nacon’s support instructions, updated August 17, 2026, describe app-based customization of an Advanced profile but do not specify numeric sensitivity or dead-zone values, slider names, or value ranges. Use the controls shown in your current app, change them incrementally, and check the result in the game you play rather than relying on an unverified preset number.

Use FPS Pro for the documented dead-zone change
Nacon describes FPS Pro as disabling the joystick dead zone. With less dead-zone filtering, a stick that does not return exactly to center may register movement and appear to drift. Try this behavior on one stick at a time and check it in a game; Nacon advises against enabling FPS Pro on both sticks simultaneously.
This is a trade-off, not a guarantee that every controller or game will respond identically. If drift appears, turn FPS Pro off for that stick and check whether the unwanted movement stops.

Choose a starting profile
The Revolution 5 Pro has four preloaded Advanced profiles. These are Nacon’s descriptions of the presets, not independent performance tests or guarantees of the best choice:
| Profile | Nacon’s description |
|---|---|
| Racing/Sports | Intended for racing and sports games. |
| FPS | Reactive left-stick curve for quick movement; progressive right-stick curve for precision aiming. |
| Arcade/Fighting | Instant curves on both sticks for quicker reactions. |
| Infiltration | Ultra-reactive left-stick curve and delayed right-stick curve for precision actions. |
To switch profiles, leave the controller in Advanced mode and press the Profile button. If you want to experiment, select the preset whose described response suits the game, then adjust the profile in the app and test one change at a time.

Check firmware if drift persists
Nacon’s drift support article, updated June 11, 2026, says a previously reported Y-axis inversion issue that caused drift had been resolved several months before that update and advises keeping firmware up to date. The article does not identify the current firmware version. For current update instructions, use Nacon’s official product support and download page rather than relying on an unverified version or procedure.
