To show a property’s asking price over the video, add an editable text source to the scene in OBS, type the amount with the ₹ symbol, and position it where it is readable without hiding the property. If the price only needs to appear in chat, post it in YouTube Live Chat and pin it. YouTube does not automatically format or verify property prices.
Show a property price over the live video
- Prepare the label. Write the rupee amount clearly and pair it with a short listing name or number, such as “Flat 2B — ₹85,00,000.” The identifier helps viewers distinguish listings as the tour moves along.
- Add it in OBS. Open the scene used for the live property feed. In the Sources panel, add a text source, enter the price label, and place it over the footage. OBS documents text sources and scene sources in its Text Sources guide and Sources guide.
- Check legibility. Preview the scene and adjust the text size and position so the amount can be read against the footage without covering an important feature of the property. Check it against different parts of the room or exterior as the camera moves.
- Update it with the tour. Keep the price as a separate editable text layer. When switching listings, change the identifier and amount together, then verify the preview shows the correct price for the property currently on screen.
OBS documentation explains how to use text and scene sources; it does not provide a real-estate-specific price template. The overlay is a creator-controlled label, not a YouTube-verified asking price or a legal disclosure standard.

Use a pinned Live Chat message instead
If viewers only need the price in chat, send a concise Live Chat message and pin it. YouTube says, “You can pin your own message or a viewer’s message in Live Chat.” Only the creator can pin a message, and only one message can be pinned at a time, so replace it when the tour moves to another listing. Overlay or pinned message?

Choose an overlay when the price needs to remain visible on the video itself. Choose chat when a message alongside the stream is sufficient and you do not want to add a scene element.
Do not confuse a listing price with Super Chat
YouTube’s Live Streaming API describes currency and amount-display fields for Super Chat purchases. Those fields concern what a viewer paid for a highlighted chat message; they are not property-listing price fields. Show an asking price with your own overlay or an ordinary chat message.
