Add a game from its Steam Store page by selecting Add to your Wishlist. You can open and manage the list from Steam’s Store menu, reorder or remove entries, and control who can see the list through your Community Profile privacy settings. Steam says Wishlist entries can generate sale notifications, but its published instructions do not specify the current delivery controls.
How to add a game to your Steam Wishlist

Open the game’s page in the Steam Store.

Select Add to your Wishlist, which Steam places on the left side of the storefront page. After adding it, the page indicates that the game is on your Wishlist.

How to open and manage your Wishlist
Sign in to Steam, hover over Store, and choose Wishlist. Steam says you can edit the list in the Steam client or a web browser; it does not provide a separate walkthrough for the mobile app.
Change the order of games
Drag items into the order you want, or enter a position number in the field beside a game or DLC title.

Remove a game or DLC

On your Wishlist, select Remove beneath the item’s name.

Alternatively, open the item’s Store page, select the arrow beside On Wishlist, then choose Remove from your Wishlist.

Who can see your Steam Wishlist?
Your Wishlist’s visibility follows your Community Profile privacy settings. Steam describes three choices: visible to all users, visible to Steam friends, or visible only to you. To change who can see the list, adjust the privacy settings for your Community Profile.

Steam says the Wishlist can notify you when a game you want goes on sale. Its sales FAQ points users to the Wishlist information and Email Preferences.

The available Steam instructions do not spell out current notification channels, individual delivery switches, or a full setup path. For delivery options, check Steam’s current Email Preferences and account settings rather than assuming a particular alert method is enabled. The instructions confirm sale notifications, but do not establish their frequency or mobile-app behavior.
