How do I add FireShot to Chrome?
- In desktop Chrome, open the FireShot listing in the Chrome Web Store. Confirm the listing is named Take Webpage Screenshots Entirely – FireShot and identifies getfireshot.com as the developer website.
- Select Add to Chrome.
- Review the permissions Chrome displays. If Chrome asks you to confirm, select Add extension.
Chrome recommends installing only extensions you trust. The listing describes FireShot as capturing a full webpage, the visible area, or a selected region, with PDF, PNG, and JPEG output. It also advertises an optional upgrade. The listing’s version and update information can change over time.

How do I pin FireShot to the toolbar?
- Select Chrome’s Extensions icon near the address bar.
- Find FireShot in the menu.
- Select Pin beside it. The FireShot icon should now remain visible on the toolbar.
If the FireShot icon is already visible beside the address bar, it is already pinned. Google notes that some extensions do not offer a Pin option; if FireShot’s menu does not show one, the control may not be available for that extension in your Chrome setup. How do I unpin FireShot?
Open the Extensions menu or Chrome’s toolbar extension controls, then unpin FireShot. It will no longer appear directly on the toolbar, but you can still look for it in the Extensions menu.

Why is FireShot missing from my Chrome toolbar?
- It may be installed but not pinned. Open the Extensions menu and look for FireShot. If it is there, select Pin.
- Check whether it is installed and enabled. In Chrome, open More > Extensions > Manage extensions and look for FireShot.
- You may be using Guest or Incognito mode. Chrome does not allow extension installation in those browsing modes. Switch to a regular Chrome window to install it.
- A work or school policy may block it. Some organizations restrict which extensions can be installed; contact your administrator if installation is blocked.

Does the same process work in Chrome on a phone?
This guide covers desktop Chrome’s extension installation and toolbar controls. The referenced Chrome instructions do not establish that the same install-and-pin flow is available in Chrome for phones, so do not assume the desktop steps apply on mobile.
