How Starseed: Asnia Trigger’s gacha and pity system works

Starseed: Asnia Trigger does not use one universal pity counter. General Recruit, ordinary Pickup Recruit, Select Pickup events, and Creator/Destroyer rate-up events can all use different rates, counters, and rewards. A 2025 independent guide reports a 4% SSR rate and an SSR within 30 General Recruit pulls, while 2026 official notices document a 1.6% Select Pickup target and a separate Creator/Destroyer system with a 1.0% target rate and a guaranteed target on the 150th recruit.

Before spending tickets or summon currency, open the notice for the active banner. Its rules—not a pity number remembered from another event—determine your odds, guarantee, counter reset, and what happens when the banner closes.

The four recruitment systems you need to distinguish

“Pity” in Starseed: Asnia Trigger is an umbrella term for several different protections. Some banners guarantee an SSR after a number of recruits, some provide mileage that can be exchanged for character memories, and some simply publish a selected-unit rate without stating a hard guarantee. Treating them as interchangeable is the most common source of wrong pull plans.

Banner type Featured or target rate SSR rate Guarantee or exchange How the target is chosen Counter reset After the event
General Recruit No featured target is specified 4% (guide-reported, 2025) SSR guaranteed within 30 pulls (guide-reported) Random from the standard pool Guide says an earlier SSR resets the 30-pull count Not stated (2025 guide)
Ordinary Pickup Recruit 1.6% featured SSR (guide-reported, 2025) 4% total: 1.6% featured, 2.4% other SSRs One mileage point per pull; 80 mileage exchanges for 60 featured Proxyan memories Featured unit(s) are set by the banner; player selection is not described in the guide Not stated (2025 guide) Not stated (2025 guide)
Select Pickup Recruit 1.6% for the selected Proxyan (official notice, 2026) Other eligible Proxyans retain the SSR rate; the notice does not provide a single total rate in the cited material Not stated (official notice, 2026) You select one target; the choice cannot be changed after confirmation Not stated (official notice, 2026) Character- and event-specific
Creator/Destroyer Select Rate-Up 1.0% for the selected target (official notice, 2026) Not stated (official notice, 2026) If the target is not obtained in the first 149 recruits, recruit 150 guarantees her A selected Rate UP Proxyan is named in the event notice Count resets after the 150th-recruit guarantee Not stated (official notice, 2026)

The General and ordinary Pickup figures come from an independent guide published in 2025, so verify the live client when you pull. The Select Pickup and Creator/Destroyer figures come from official STARSEED community notices published in 2026. Those sources establish different systems, not one game-wide rule.

How General Recruit pity works

Rates in the standard pool

The cited 2025 guide lists General Recruit rates of 4% for SSR, 46% for SR, and 50% for R. General Recruit is the baseline pool rather than a selected-character event, so the 4% figure is the chance of any SSR covered by that pool, not a guarantee of a particular Proxyan.

The 30-pull SSR guarantee

The same guide reports that an SSR is guaranteed within 30 pulls. Read “within” literally: if no SSR appears earlier in the sequence, the 30th recruit supplies one. If an SSR appears on pull 7, the guarantee has already been satisfied and the guide says the counter resets at that point; it does not continue counting to pull 30 for a second forced SSR.

This is a sequence-level protection, not a promise that every block of 30 recruits produces exactly one SSR. Early SSRs can occur, and the next sequence begins after the reset described by the guide. Because this rule is guide-reported rather than stated in the official notices cited for the other banners, check the General Recruit information panel in your current game version before budgeting around it.

How ordinary Pickup Recruit works

Featured and off-banner SSR rates

The independent guide gives ordinary Pickup Recruit a 1.6% chance for the featured SSR and a 2.4% chance for other SSRs, for 4% SSR overall. SR and R remain 46% and 50% in that guide’s breakdown. The 1.6% number is therefore the featured-unit rate, not the chance of any SSR.

The guide describes a banner-defined featured unit or set of units, rather than the player choosing a target at the start. Do not carry the selection-lock rule from Select Pickup into an ordinary Pickup unless the active notice explicitly uses that wording.

The separate 80-point mileage exchange

Each ordinary Pickup recruit adds one mileage point according to the guide. At 80 points, the exchange provides 60 memories for the featured Proxyan. Mileage is a separate reward track from the General Recruit 30-pull SSR counter. The cited guide does not establish that ordinary Pickup shares, inherits, or resets the General Recruit pity counter, and it does not state an additional hard-SSR guarantee for the Pickup banner.

For planning purposes, record two totals: the number of pulls made toward mileage and the number of copies or memories you actually received. Reaching 80 mileage points gives the stated memory exchange; it should not be described as a guaranteed full character unless the event notice defines how many memories are required for that character.

Select Pickup: choosing a target changes the decision

The selected target’s 1.6% rate

Official STARSEED community notices from 2026 describe Select Pickup Recruit with a 1.6% rate for the Proxyan you select. Other eligible Proxyans retain the SSR rate specified by that event notice. The cited notices do not supply one universal total SSR percentage or a universal hard-pity number for every Select Pickup, so those fields must be read from the individual event panel.

Selection is locked

The official notices state that you choose one target and cannot change the selection after confirming it. Pause on the confirmation screen and check the portrait, name, and eligibility list before accepting. A mistaken selection is not corrected by switching banners or making additional pulls, because the notice treats the choice as locked for that event.

What the notice does not establish

The Select Pickup examples cited here do not state a shared counter with General Recruit, an 80-point exchange, or a 30- or 150-pull guarantee. Those mechanics belong to other examples. If a new Select Pickup includes mileage or a hard guarantee, use the new notice’s wording and counter rather than importing an older event’s rules.

This is materially different from the 1.6% Select Pickup examples and from the guide-reported General Recruit rule. The guarantee concerns the selected target, not merely an unspecified SSR. The cited notice does not state a total SSR rate for the banner, so do not calculate one by adding rates from another banner.

When the counter resets

The official notice says the count resets after the 150th-recruit guarantee. It does not provide a universal statement that every early target copy resets the counter in the same way, so rely on the event’s in-game counter and wording if you obtain the Proxyan before pull 150. In all cases, treat Creator/Destroyer progress as its own event-specific counter unless the active notice explicitly says otherwise.

Is pity shared between banners?

No shared counter is established by the cited material. The published rules are banner-specific: General Recruit has a guide-reported 30-pull SSR guarantee, ordinary Pickup has mileage, Select Pickup defines a locked 1.6% target, and Creator/Destroyer uses a 1.0% target with a 150th-recruit guarantee. None of those sources says that progress transfers between the four systems.

The safest operational assumption is that each banner displays and tracks its own progress. Before pulling, look for a counter, mileage total, or guarantee sentence in the current banner notice. If the interface shows separate counters, they should be managed separately; if a notice explicitly promises carry-over, follow that notice for that event rather than relying on a general rule.

What happens when a Pickup banner ends?

There is no single post-banner destination for every Proxyan. The official Amy notice says Amy moves to Signals and Proxyan Tickets after her Pickup ends. That is a character-specific outcome, not proof that every featured unit enters those pools.

Other official notices expose Special Core Wishlist routes for named Proxyans. A wishlist route can therefore exist for one character while another follows a different schedule or remains unavailable through that method. Before a banner closes, read the “after the event” or availability section for the exact Proxyan you want. Do not assume that unused mileage, a locked selection, or an unfinished guarantee automatically transfers to a later banner unless the notice says so.

A practical pull-planning checklist

  1. Open the active banner notice. Confirm whether it is General, ordinary Pickup, Select Pickup, or Creator/Destroyer. Read the rates, guarantee language, mileage rules, end date, and post-event availability.
  2. Identify what is actually guaranteed. General Recruit’s guide-reported protection is any SSR within 30 pulls. Creator/Destroyer’s official protection is the selected target on pull 150 after 149 unsuccessful target pulls. An SSR guarantee is not automatically a featured-character guarantee.
  3. Confirm selection before locking it. On Select Pickup, verify the chosen Proxyan because the official notice says the choice cannot be changed.
  4. Track the correct counter. Keep General Recruit pity, Pickup mileage, and Creator/Destroyer progress separate. Write down your current pull count and mileage before changing banners.
  5. Budget for the stated endpoint. If you are relying on a hard guarantee, reserve enough resources to reach that banner’s documented threshold. For ordinary Pickup, include the 80-point mileage exchange in your plan if 60 featured memories are useful to you.
  6. Recheck before the final pulls. Event notices can define different pools, rates, and end-of-event destinations. A banner that looks similar can still use a different pity number.

Common mistakes and how to avoid them

“Every banner has 30-pull pity.”

Only the cited General Recruit guide reports a 30-pull SSR guarantee. The official Creator/Destroyer notice instead uses 150 pulls for the selected target, and the cited Select Pickup notices do not state a universal hard guarantee.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

“A 1.6% banner guarantees the featured Proxyan.”

A 1.6% rate describes the chance on a recruit in the cited Select Pickup and ordinary Pickup examples. It is not itself a guarantee. A guarantee must be stated separately, such as the Creator/Destroyer notice’s pull-150 sentence.

“Mileage and pity are the same thing.”

Ordinary Pickup mileage is an exchange track: one point per pull and 60 featured memories at 80 points in the guide. A pity counter is a guarantee or rate-protection rule. They may coexist, but one does not automatically replace the other.

“The character will always enter tickets after the banner.”

Amy’s official notice provides that route for Amy, while other notices identify Special Core Wishlist routes for named Proxyans. Availability is character- and event-specific.

Bottom line for each banner

  • General Recruit: use the 4% SSR, 46% SR, 50% R breakdown and within-30 SSR guarantee only as the 2025 guide-reported baseline, with an early SSR resetting that count.
  • Ordinary Pickup Recruit: the guide reports 1.6% featured SSR, 2.4% other SSR, and one mileage point per pull toward 60 featured memories at 80 points.
  • Select Pickup: the official 2026 notices give your selected Proxyan a 1.6% rate and lock the choice after confirmation; other terms depend on that event notice.
  • Creator/Destroyer: the official March 2026 notice gives the selected target a 1.0% rate and guarantees her on recruit 150 if she was not obtained in the first 149, then resets the count.

There is no single Starseed pity number. Read the active notice, track the counter belonging to that banner, and verify the character’s post-event route before you commit resources.
