Razer’s Perfect 180 is a Synapse-configurable mouse feature intended to make an instant 180-degree turn in low-sensitivity games. It is not a mechanical shortcut that guarantees the same turn in every game: Razer says the result depends on in-game sensitivity and Synapse’s total-count settings. Razer currently lists the feature on two distinct mice, the Basilisk V4 Pro and Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed.
What does Perfect 180 do?
Razer describes Perfect 180 as a customizable gaming mouse feature for performing an instant 180-degree turn, particularly in low-sensitivity play. You assign it to a supported mouse control in Razer Synapse. Pressing that assigned control triggers the configured mouse movement; the software and game settings determine how far the view actually turns. Razer’s Basilisk V4 Pro page and Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed page both describe the feature.

The important caveat is that a perfect half-turn is not guaranteed across all games or configurations. Razer says the turn depends on the game’s sensitivity and Synapse total-count settings. Treat Perfect 180 as a configurable software action whose result needs to match your own setup, rather than a universal one-button 180-degree guarantee.

How do you set it up?
Razer says to use Synapse to configure mouse button mappings and other settings. Its HyperSpeed FAQ says Perfect 180 can be mapped to any control, while the Pro page describes assigning it to a supported mouse button. The available product information does not specify a verified, version-specific sequence of menus, so the exact on-screen path may vary by Synapse version.

- Install and open Razer Synapse.
- Select the Basilisk V4 Pro or Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed you want to configure.
- Open its control or button-mapping settings and assign Perfect 180 to a supported control.
- Adjust the relevant Synapse total-count setting and in-game sensitivity, then test the turn in your game and refine the settings if needed.
Razer’s setup guidance makes Synapse the configuration route; the sources do not establish that Perfect 180 can be configured without it.
Which Basilisk V4 model is the title talking about?
There is no single undifferentiated “Basilisk V4” specification. Razer lists the feature for both the higher-end Pro and the HyperSpeed, but they differ in controls, sensor, and published battery claims.

| Model | Razer-published details | Battery and charging information |
|---|---|---|
| Basilisk V4 Pro | Razer Japan’s October 8, 2026 announcement lists 14 customizable controls, a Focus Pro 50K Optical Sensor Gen-3, HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2, and seven-zone Chroma RGB with full underglow. | The cited announcement does not state a battery-life figure. |
| Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed | Razer Japan’s October 8, 2026 announcement lists 12 customizable controls, a Focus X 33K Optical Sensor Gen-3, and a 94 g design. | Razer’s US product page states up to 140 hours on HyperSpeed Wireless or up to 225 hours on Bluetooth. These are connection-specific claims, not interchangeable figures. |
Both models are presented as customizable gaming mice, but the Pro is the higher-end option in Razer Japan’s announcement. The published control counts and sensor names help distinguish the models; Perfect 180 itself is not exclusive to the Pro.
What do the prices and launch details mean for your region?
Razer Japan’s October 8, 2026 announcement gives suggested Japan-market prices of ¥27,980 for the Basilisk V4 Pro and ¥18,980 for the Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed, and says the Japan launch is planned for November. Those figures and timing apply to Japan; they do not establish US prices, stock, or launch timing. Is a charging dock required?
No. Perfect 180 is configured in Synapse, not through a charging accessory. Razer lists Mouse Dock V2 Pro and HyperFlux V2 as optional wireless-charging solutions for the HyperSpeed; using either involves swapping the mouse’s cover puck. They are charging options, not prerequisites for assigning or using Perfect 180.

That is a subjective visual comparison in the headline, not a design description established by Razer’s product materials. The official pages describe specifications and lighting, but do not substantiate the comparison. Whether the shape works for you is best judged from product photos or an in-person look.
