A greenhouse can heat up in direct sun even when outdoor air is cool. BloomGreen models use roof vents, and the 6′ x 8′ model also has a sliding door; opening them allows excess heat and humidity to escape. Closing them during cool periods can help retain warmth, but a closed enclosure is not a substitute for dependable frost protection when temperatures fall below a plant’s tolerance.

Check plants and conditions rather than leaving vents in one position all day. A thermometer helps reveal how quickly temperatures rise and fall inside. The range includes 6′ x 8′, 6′ x 10′, 12′ x 6′, 16′ x 8′ and 20′ x 8′ footprints. A larger footprint gives more room for mature plants, paths and work surfaces, but also needs more clear, level installation space. Compare usable access and ventilation as well as floor area: the number and adjustability of roof vents, door arrangement, panel thickness and anchoring approach can differ by model.

For example, the Canadian 6′ x 12′ model is listed at 74.8 in W × 147.6 in D × 78.3 in H. That regional model is not the same size as the U.S. 6′ x 8′ specification above; confirm the exact model and regional product page before comparing dimensions or features. Choose a compact model for seedling protection if space is limited, and prioritize extra floor area when you need to move among mature crops or fit worktables.

Outsunny recommends placing the greenhouse against a wall and out of the wind. Choose a location with suitable sunlight, room for access and space to anchor the base according to the assembly instructions. A wall can provide shelter, but do not assume it removes the need for secure anchoring or leaves vents and doors unobstructed.

Treat that as a planning estimate, not a guaranteed assembly time; site preparation, experience and conditions can change the work involved. Consider your local wind and snow exposure before choosing a site or relying on the structure for seasonal protection.
