Netflix mobile games are included with an active Netflix membership, but you download them from Google Play or Apple’s App Store rather than streaming them inside the Netflix app. Android phones and tablets, iPhone, and iPad are the main mobile platforms; each game can have its own device and operating-system requirements. Netflix also offers games on some TVs and computers through a separate beta experience whose availability depends on your country and device.
How Netflix Games works
There are two different ways to play. Mobile games are installed on a compatible phone or tablet and launched like other apps. TV and computer games are a separate beta experience: if it is available on your device and in your country, you can start a supported game through Netflix. The access method, controls, and availability differ between the two.

Netflix describes its mobile games as having “No ads. No extra fees. No in-app purchases.” That is Netflix’s description of the service; an active membership is still required to access mobile games. See Netflix’s mobile games help page.
How to download a Netflix game on a phone or tablet
Android

Open the Netflix app and look for the Mobile Games row or Games shortcut. Choose a game and tap Get Game; Netflix will open its Google Play listing. You can also search for the game directly in Google Play.

Install the game, open it from your device, and choose a Netflix profile. Sign in to your Netflix account if prompted.
iPhone or iPad

Find the game in the Netflix app’s Mobile Games area, or search for it in the App Store.

Tap Get or the cloud-download icon, then install and open the game. Choose a Netflix profile and sign in if asked.

After installation, you can launch a game from your device’s home screen or from Netflix’s mobile games area. Downloading and installing requires an internet connection and enough free storage. Netflix’s setup guidance is on its Playing Netflix mobile games page.
Netflix account, profiles, and game saves
You need an active Netflix membership to play mobile games. Netflix says your account provides access without a separate game account or extra in-game purchases. Open the game and select the Netflix profile you want to use; progress is associated with that profile. Netflix’s mobile-games account guidance explains the sign-in requirement.
Game progress may be saved to the cloud or only on the device, depending on the game. A cloud save is tied to the Netflix profile and can allow you to continue after reinstalling or switching devices. A local-only save can be lost if you uninstall the game or clear its data. Deleting a Netflix profile removes that profile’s game progress. Check Netflix’s game-save guidance for details.

Supported mobile devices and requirements
Netflix lists Android phones and tablets, iPhone, and iPad as mobile device categories for games. Its general recommendations for the best experience are Android 9 or later, iOS 17 or later, and iPadOS 17 or later. These recommendations do not guarantee that every game will run on every device meeting those versions: individual titles can set different requirements.

Playing Netflix games on a TV or computer
TV and computer games are not the same as mobile downloads. Netflix describes this as a beta experience, and it is not available in every country or on every device. Check whether a Games area and a Play Game option appear on your target device; support and the selection of games can change.

On a TV

Open Netflix on the TV and select a profile.

If a Games menu is available, choose a game with a Play Game option.

Scan the on-screen QR code with a phone or tablet to connect it as the controller. Netflix says gamepads and other controllers are not supported for this TV setup.

A stable internet connection is required. Netflix recommends download speeds of 10 Mbps or higher for TV play.

Visit netflix.com in Chrome or Edge and choose a profile.

Open Games and select a supported title. Depending on the game, use a keyboard and mouse or trackpad, or connect a phone or tablet as a controller.
Netflix recommends download speeds of 10 Mbps or higher for computer play. If Games is missing, the country, browser, device, or software version may not be supported. Netflix’s TV and computer games help page describes current availability and setup.

Choose mobile if you want an installed game to launch from a phone or tablet. TV and computer play depend on the beta being available for the particular location and device, and may require a phone or tablet as a controller.
