There is no single public SAP Business One price for India. One provider, TEKROI, lists subscription examples starting at ₹79,999 per month for 10 users, while its worked perpetual-license example totals about ₹19,50,000 in year one before annual maintenance. Those are provider-specific examples, not official SAP prices or an India-wide benchmark. Whether SAP B1 is expensive depends on the licenses, implementation, hosting, support, and other costs your business needs.
What does SAP Business One cost in India?
TEKROI’s India pricing page, last reviewed on 15 August 2026, lists the following indicative cloud-subscription examples. TEKROI says the prices exclude GST, require a minimum one-year term, and are confirmed against scope when it prepares a quotation.

TEKROI says its subscription plans cover licenses, hosting, implementation, and support. Its listed inclusions also include GST returns and e-invoicing localisation, bank integrations, WhatsApp delivery, training, and ongoing support. Perpetual-license example
TEKROI’s worked example, also dated 15 August 2026, puts a perpetual license for 2 Professional and 8 Limited users at approximately ₹10,00,000. It adds ₹9,50,000 for a six-week, fixed-scope implementation using standard modules and one legal entity. Together, that is about ₹19,50,000 in year one before annual maintenance; hosting is separate.

For that example configuration, TEKROI lists annual maintenance at 17% of the license price, or ₹1,70,000 per year. This is the provider’s figure for its example, not an established universal SAP rate. TEKROI says license prices and discounts vary with the number and mix of licenses. Is SAP B1 expensive?
It can be a substantial project commitment, but the available figures do not support a blanket yes or no. They come from one provider, use different licensing models, and bundle different costs. There is no official SAP India Business One list price or representative market-wide average established here.
To judge affordability, compare written proposals built around the same requirements and calculate the total cost over the period you expect to use the system. A low license figure can omit implementation, hosting, maintenance, or services that another proposal includes.

Cloud subscription and perpetual licensing are different commercial models, and cloud versus on-premises describes deployment. SAP documents cloud and on-premises deployment choices, but those labels do not guarantee a particular service bundle or price. SAP’s Business One technical information describes its deployment options.

The subscription example bundles multiple costs into recurring expense; the perpetual example requires upfront spending plus separately arranged hosting and annual maintenance. Neither is proven cheaper over five years or any other ownership period: that depends on your own server, support, and other costs.
What drives the total cost?
Users and license types
License mix matters. TEKROI’s perpetual example uses 2 Professional and 8 Limited users, but its figures are not a general price list. Ask the partner to map each role to the required license type rather than quoting only a total user count.

Implementation scope
The ₹9,50,000 implementation example covers six weeks, standard modules, and one legal entity. TEKROI says its scope includes discovery, configuration, migration, training, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live. It quotes additional legal entities, non-standard modules, and custom development separately. Compare deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, and migration responsibilities—not just the implementation total.

TEKROI includes hosting in its subscription example but treats hosting or hardware as separate for perpetual licensing. It discusses Microsoft SQL Server and SAP HANA as database options, and says its HANA cost example depends on database memory and hardware. Treat those as provider-specific considerations; obtain the database, infrastructure, and hosting assumptions for your own deployment in writing.

Maintenance and support
Separate SAP maintenance from a partner’s application-management or post-go-live services. SAP says a valid maintenance agreement provides support benefits and access to software upgrades and updates. SAP also says it provides at least five years of mainstream maintenance for a release family; this is not a promise about any particular contract’s price or the scope of a partner’s services. Check the terms that apply to your purchase on SAP’s Business One support page and in the agreement.
Integrations, extensions, localisation, and taxes
Budget for only the integrations and extensions your requirements call for. SAP says partner extensions add capabilities and are built, sold, and supported by SAP partners. Confirm whether required tax and e-invoicing localisation, bank connections, or other integrations are included, separately priced, or outside the proposed scope. TEKROI’s examples exclude GST; verify tax treatment and current terms on the actual quotation.

SAP says, “SAP Business One is sold, implemented, and supported by our partner network.” That makes the partner’s scope and proposal central to the price you receive. SAP’s India partner finder can help you locate providers; a listing is not an endorsement of a quoted price.
- Ask at least two SAP partners for itemised proposals using the same user count, role mix, legal entities, deployment, and evaluation period.
- Require each proposal to state license types and quantities, implementation deliverables and exclusions, data-migration scope, and any custom development.
- Compare database, hosting, hardware, integrations, extensions, and localisation assumptions. Identify which are included, recurring, or separately priced.
- Ask what annual maintenance covers, what post-go-live support includes, and how renewals and subscription terms work.
- Check taxes and calculate the total cost over your intended ownership period, including recurring fees and costs that sit outside the initial quote.
This like-for-like comparison is more useful than treating any single provider’s example as the price of SAP B1 for every Indian business.
