How long does the campaign take?
The game’s 12-level campaign is short by action-game standards. Two 2026 reviews put a focused story run at roughly 2.5–5 hours, with the difference reflecting play style and familiarity rather than an official runtime promise. Trailmark Games confirms the 12-level count in its launch announcement; the developer has not published an official estimate for how many hours the full campaign takes.

Use the campaign estimate if you want to finish the story, and the longer player-reported figure only if you intend to pursue a broad set of trophies and completion objectives. The sources do not establish a single expected time for every player.
What can you do after finishing the story?
Unlock and play as Negan
Trailmark Games says Negan becomes playable after your first playthrough. The developer’s announcement says you can then battle as Negan, Daryl, Rick, or Michonne. The available sources describe replaying the campaign with these characters; they do not establish a separate Negan story campaign.

Replay in Game+ and tackle other difficulties
The launch announcement promotes Game+ as a way to replay the campaign, master each character’s moveset, and take on multiple difficulty levels. GameBlast also reports that stages can be revisited with more freedom to choose protagonists after finishing the story.
Develop character skill trees
Each character has a skill tree that improves stats and abilities. Trailmark Games says in its 2026 Steam Community FAQ: “Each character has a full skill tree that increases stats as well as abilities and effectiveness as you progress through the game. It will take multiple playthroughs to fully max out your characters.” Xbox Wire’s developer feature describes the trees as branching, so replaying can also let you pursue a different build.

Work through completion goals
If you want more than another story run, an individual 2026 platinum guide lists collectibles, secret rooms, quests, skill-tree progress, a hard-difficulty clear, and combat milestones among its objectives. Treat that as one player’s trophy route, not a developer-published universal checklist.

- Want to keep playing after the credits? Add time for Game+, character selection, different difficulty levels, and skill-tree progression; the sources do not give a reliable total for these activities.
- Want a platinum run? One player guide reports 12–15 hours for its particular set of goals, but your time may differ based on route and skill.
