For practical planning, treat the lower end as a focused campaign and the upper end as a more deliberate first run. A GamesRadar+ review reported finishing the story in just under nine hours. A Tom’s Guide review reported a 10-hour full-campaign playthrough on PlayStation 5 Pro.

The site’s estimate is based on the modal completion time reported by four members who completed the game. That is a very small, early sample, so it should be treated as provisional guidance rather than a reliable population average.
There is no separate completionist number in Saber’s FAQ. The publisher gives only the general gameplay range and does not specify how long it takes to find every achievement, investigate every optional area, or finish any other 100% objectives. Consequently, the honest answer for completionists is narrower than the answer for the main story: an achievement-site estimate exists, but a robust, independently measured 100% average does not.

Why the achievement estimate needs caution
- Only four reports underpin it. A handful of completed-player times can move substantially as more people submit results.
- “All achievements” is a defined target, not necessarily every possible activity. The figure concerns 44 achievements; it does not establish a separate collectible, challenge, or exploration checklist beyond those achievements.
- Player skill and route choices still apply. Someone who solves puzzles quickly or follows an efficient route may finish faster than someone who searches extensively.
- It is not a publisher measurement. The 10–12-hour figure comes from a community achievement-tracking site, unlike Saber’s official planning statement.
Those limitations do not make the estimate useless. They make it a reasonable early planning aid for an achievement-focused player, while the small sample means you should leave extra time if a first attempt is your only opportunity to reach 100 percent.
What “depending on your playstyle” means in practice
Saber does not break its range into difficulty modes or named player types, so any finer categories are practical interpretations rather than official targets. The following distinctions help you decide where your own run is likely to land without pretending that the game has a tested schedule for each approach.
Focused story run
A focused run prioritizes forward progress. You investigate what is needed to open the next path, spend less time rechecking rooms, and move on after solving an obstacle. This approach is the best fit for the shorter side of the publisher’s window, especially if you are familiar with first-person horror conventions and do not need to learn the game’s interactions through repeated attempts.

A thorough run searches side rooms, reads environmental clues, experiments with available tools, and takes time to understand encounters. It is also the more natural way to play if atmosphere and discovery matter as much as reaching the ending. The reviewer reports near nine and 10 hours demonstrate that a deliberate campaign can still fit within the official range, but neither review establishes how much optional content was completed.

An achievement-focused player may pause the story to investigate objectives that a normal campaign would skip. The current community estimate places all 44 achievements at 10–12 hours, which overlaps the publisher’s broad playthrough guidance. Because the achievement sample is limited, use that overlap as a rough signal rather than proof that every achievement can be collected in a single fixed-length session.
A practical way to plan your time
- Reserve a main-story block. Set aside an evening or two for a campaign expected by the publisher to take around 8–12 hours. Do not schedule a hard stop at the lower boundary if you prefer to explore.
- Add flexibility for your first attempt. New players often spend longer learning puzzles, navigation, and encounters than a reviewer already familiar with the game. A flexible weekend plan is safer than assuming a precise finish time.
- Decide whether achievements are part of the goal. If you want all 44 achievements, use the 10–12-hour TrueAchievements figure as an early estimate, then allow additional time because it reflects only four completed-player reports.
- Separate story completion from 100 percent. Finishing the campaign answers the main-story question. It does not automatically establish that every achievement or optional objective has been completed.
- Record your own stopping point. If you pause between sessions, note whether you were progressing through the story or searching for optional goals. That makes your personal time easier to compare with the publisher range later.
What is known—and not known—about the evidence
The official and independent figures answer different questions. Saber’s FAQ is the primary source for the expected length and is written as broad player guidance. None of these sources supplies a large, controlled study of players. There is no cited chapter timing, median across a broad launch population, or independently verified average for a complete 100 percent run. That is why the main-story answer can be stated with a publisher range, while the completionist answer must carry a stronger qualification.

How to read the estimates without overpromising precision
If you only want to finish the story, the most defensible expectation is the publisher’s around-8-to-12-hour window. The individual review completions—just under nine hours and 10 hours—show how two real players landed inside it, but they remain personal observations.
If your goal is every achievement, the available 10–12-hour estimate is the closest published guide, not a guaranteed 100 percent time. Its four-player basis is too small to establish a dependable average, and the official FAQ offers no separate completionist statistic. Consider the estimate a starting point for scheduling, then add contingency for exploration, missed objectives, retries, or a second pass.
That distinction is important when comparing a short campaign with a longer game. Hellraiser: Revival is structured as a focused single-player horror experience rather than a title with a documented 50-hour endgame. A player who reaches the ending quickly has not necessarily played incorrectly, and a player who takes longer has not contradicted the official guidance; both outcomes can reflect the playstyle qualifier in Saber’s wording.
