For example, women’s IT 38 corresponds to a 25.0 cm foot length in the official chart (Golden Goose, undated official size guide). Men’s IT 42 is also listed at 27.7 cm, but its regional equivalents differ from women’s IT 42. This overlap is why a US number should never be converted in isolation: identify the chart category first, then read across the same row.

How to mark the toe accurately
Stand upright rather than sitting, because body weight changes the contact point at the front of the foot. Keep the pencil vertical when marking the longest toe. Some people have a second toe that extends farther than the big toe; mark whichever toe reaches farthest. Measure from the wall line to that mark, then repeat the process on the other side.
What if my measurement falls between two Golden Goose sizes?

If your measurement is close to a neighboring row, measure again on a hard floor, confirm which foot is longer, and compare the result with the full official chart. If it still sits between values or the product page is silent, ask customer service. The published materials do not support a general instruction to round up, round down, or choose a half size.

- Record the exact IT size and regional equivalent selected from the correct chart.
- Save the product page’s fit note and model name.
- Read the local Return Policy, including condition requirements and any deadline.
