Fortnite’s Item Shop rotates on a time displayed for your own time zone, but Epic does not promise when a particular skin or bundle will return. Each listing can show its planned exit date. Bundle prices may also change for your account if you already own some of the included cosmetics.
When does Fortnite’s Item Shop refresh?
Epic removed the single overall Shop refresh timer and now shows the rotation time in each player’s time zone. Its April 9, 2024 announcement also said that planned exit dates for individual items would be added to their description pages beginning in late May 2024. Epic’s support FAQ says the in-game Shop and Webshop refresh at around 0:00 AM GMT and directs players to “About Shop” for time-zone information. That approximate GMT reference is not a promise that every player will see the same local refresh time. When does Fortnite’s Item Shop refresh?
What does an item’s exit date mean?
An exit date is the planned time an item will rotate out of its current Shop listing. It helps you decide how long you have to consider that offer; it does not tell you when the item will appear again. Shop contents and dates are time-sensitive, so check the current listing for the item’s displayed details.

When will a skin or other cosmetic return?
Epic says the Shop constantly rotates and advises checking back if an item you want is unavailable. It does not publish a guaranteed return date or a fixed schedule for named cosmetics. Battle Pass items
Epic says Battle Pass items released after August 7, 2024 may become available in the Shop at least 18 months after the Pass expires, but their return is not guaranteed. This guidance does not establish future Shop availability for every earlier Battle Pass cosmetic. Epic’s item-return guidance
How Fortnite skin bundles and prices work
A bundle groups multiple cosmetics in one offer. The Shop listing shows what is included and may display both a discounted V-Bucks price and the original combined price. For example, an official Five Nights at Freddy’s Bundle listing showed 4,500 V-Bucks beside an original combined price of 11,000 V-Bucks. If you already own something in the bundle
If your account owns one or more included cosmetics, the displayed remaining bundle price may be reduced by the cost of the owned items. Buying the cosmetics individually does not necessarily give you the same discount: separately listed items are not automatically reduced in the same way.
The account-specific reduction also does not determine the price of a gift. Check the price shown in the gifting flow if you are buying the bundle for someone else. Epic’s bundle-pricing explanation
How to compare a bundle with individual listings
- Open the current bundle listing and review its exact cosmetics and displayed price.
- Check the individual prices shown for items you are considering, if they are listed separately.
- Look at the price on your own account, since ownership can change the remaining bundle price.
- Check the planned exit date on the item’s description page before deciding when to buy.
Contents, prices, and availability can change. A past listing is not a reliable quote for today’s offer.

Can you cancel or return a cosmetic purchase?
Cancel a recent V-Bucks purchase
For an eligible in-game cosmetic bought with V-Bucks, Epic allows cancellation until you equip or use the item during gameplay or 24 hours pass, whichever comes first. Canceling removes the content and returns the V-Bucks. How to refund and return items and outfits in Fortnite

After the cancellation window closes, an eligible cosmetic purchase made within the previous 30 days may be returned using a Return Ticket. Accounts start with three tickets, can hold no more than three, and receive a new ticket 365 days after the most recent ticket is added. Purchases made with money
