Kxrn (Karan Gupta) describes his work as a meeting point between music production, software engineering, and local AI development. In a HackerNoon interview published October 5, 2026, the 19-year-old independent producer and developer from New Delhi said he builds tools including the Windows utility Win-Optimizer-Pro and the local AI orchestrator SwarmForge. His account offers a view of how he approaches constrained resources, but it is not a technical guide or independent verification that the systems cost nothing to build or run.

What Kxrn says he is building

In the October 5, 2026 HackerNoon interview, Gupta identifies himself as Kxrn, an independent music producer, software engineer, and founder in New Delhi. He describes his philosophy as “Bridging Code and Sound.” The profile attributes to him work on Win-Optimizer-Pro, an open-source Windows tool built with Rust and Tauri, and SwarmForge, a local AI orchestrator. He also says he releases indie and hip-hop music through DuskyMoon Productions.

The interview’s appeal is this combination of creative audio work and systems-minded software development. Gupta says his recurring interests include systems-level performance optimization, local AI automation, and the overlap between software and audio production. For music, he mentions custom sound-synthesis patches in FL Studio and acoustic sound design; the profile does not identify particular studio hardware.

What “zero-cost” means in this account

Gupta says his recent story, “Building Zero-Cost Multi-Agent AI Orchestrators & Local Assistants,” described asynchronous AI agent teams running locally on aging hardware without thousands of dollars in cloud API credits. He characterizes SwarmForge as Python wrappers combined with Win32 background daemons. That is the technical outline the profile provides, not enough detail to reproduce the system.

Here, “zero-cost” is best understood as the framing of the project and the stated avoidance of cloud API credits—not as a demonstrated total cost of ownership. The interview provides no computer specifications, software versions, installation steps, benchmark results, or cost ledger. It does not quantify hardware, electricity, storage, development time, or other expenses, so it cannot establish that building and operating the system is literally free.

How he approaches technical writing

Gupta says he tends to write after working through a technical bottleneck, such as a memory leak in a background daemon or an app acceptance milestone involving Microsoft’s winget-pkgs registry. He puts his routine succinctly: “My writing happens immediately after solving a technical bottleneck.” He also describes the challenge as balancing technical depth with accessibility. These are his account of his process; the interview does not independently test performance claims or verify registry status.

What he says he wants to do next

In the October 5, 2026 interview, Gupta describes ambitions rather than completed outcomes. He hopes to expand Gupta Ventures’ open-source ecosystem and launch Win-Optimizer-Pro globally on Product Hunt. On the music side, he says he wants to grow DuskyMoon Productions and release the upcoming single “Roothi Radhe.”

He also anticipates writing about autonomous PR and media outreach bots built with Python and IMAP, as well as high-performance desktop applications using Tauri and Rust. Those plans reflect the same mix of automation and software craft that runs through the profile; their status should be read as prospective as of the interview date.

What readers can take from the profile

  • SwarmForge is described as a local orchestrator using Python wrappers and Win32 background daemons, but the profile does not contain enough implementation detail to build or evaluate it.
  • The cost claim concerns avoiding cloud API credits; total build and operating costs are not accounted for.
  • The interview’s music-production detail is limited to FL Studio, custom synthesis patches, and acoustic sound design, with no specific hardware recommendation.
  • His stated software and music goals were future plans at the time of the interview.
