Verdict: HostZealot merits a shortlist if you need VPS, a dedicated server, or colocation and can match a plan to a location and budget. Its advertised starting prices are appealing, but they do not establish the checkout or renewal cost, and the available evidence does not independently verify performance or support quality. Check the exact specification, contract terms, and renewal price before ordering.

What HostZealot sells and where it operates

HostZealot is an infrastructure-hosting provider offering VPS, dedicated servers, and colocation, alongside related services such as domains, SSL certificates, storage, and DevOps services. Its homepage, accessed October 4, 2026, advertised VPS from €6.45 per month and dedicated servers from €23 per month. Those are advertised starting prices, not a guaranteed checkout total; the chosen configuration, billing term, and any extras matter.

Location counts differ by page and service. The homepage advertised 16 VPS locations and 10 dedicated-server locations, while the About page listed 21 cities across Europe, North America, and Asia. The 21-city list is Amsterdam, Ashburn, Dubai, Manama, Brussels, Chicago, Dallas, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Limassol, London, Marseille, Riyadh, Seattle, Stockholm, Tbilisi, Tallinn, Tel Aviv, Toronto, Venice, and Warsaw. These counts are not interchangeable: confirm that the exact service and plan you want is available in your target city.

Which HostZealot service fits your workload?

VPS

A VPS is a virtual server rather than a whole physical machine. HostZealot’s VPS page advertises KVM virtualization, IPv6, VNC access, configurable backups, upgrade flexibility, and Linux, Windows, and BSD operating-system options. It also lists several control-panel options. Treat these as provider descriptions, and check the selected plan’s specific operating-system, panel, backup, and resource availability before purchase.

Dedicated servers

A dedicated server is a physical server allocated to your use, making its hardware configuration central to the decision. Compare the actual CPU, RAM, storage type and capacity, and bandwidth for the specific offer rather than relying on a starting price. Confirm whether bandwidth or other resources are metered and what happens if you exceed any allowance.

Colocation

With colocation, you place your own hardware in a provider’s facility. It is a different service from renting a VPS or dedicated server: establish what the facility provides, what you must supply, and which support or operational tasks are included. The cited service pages do not establish a uniform colocation package, so verify details for the location and contract you are considering.

HostZealot plans, renewal prices, and what is included

The homepage’s €6.45/month VPS and €23/month dedicated-server figures are starting prices displayed when accessed October 4, 2026. They do not tell you the price of a particular configuration or its renewal rate. A third-party comparison by CloudsPress says it checked HostZealot pricing on September 24, 2026 and reports first-term and renewal prices; those figures are a dated comparison, not confirmation of every live checkout. See its HostZealot pricing comparison and verify the selected plan directly before paying.

Use the order page to establish the total cost and what the plan includes. In particular, compare:

  • CPU, RAM, storage type and capacity, and bandwidth; check whether resources are metered.
  • Initial billing term, renewal amount and term, taxes, fees, and add-on costs.
  • Whether backups are included, configurable, or separately charged, and how restoration works.
  • What support covers and whether management or any service-level commitment is included.
  • Availability of the selected operating system, control panel, and target location.

Support, provisioning, and performance claims

HostZealot says, “Support will assist you at any time of day and night.” That is the provider’s support claim, not a measured response-time guarantee. The company also promotes fast provisioning, upgrade flexibility, configurable backups, and uptime-related assurances. The available evidence does not provide controlled uptime, latency, provisioning-time, workload, or support-response measurements. If those outcomes are critical, request the applicable service-level terms and check their scope, exclusions, and remedies rather than treating marketing claims as independent verification.

Terms and account checks to understand

HostZealot’s Terms of Service require accurate account information, describe a two-business-day response window for validity inquiries, prohibit activities including spam and unauthorized access, and set out termination rights. These clauses may matter if you operate a sensitive workload, expect to use a particular traffic pattern, or are concerned about suspension or refunds. Read the current agreement before ordering, especially its acceptable-use, verification, termination, and refund language; this summary is not a legal interpretation of how those provisions apply in a particular case.

What customer reviews can—and cannot—tell you

On October 4, 2026, Trustpilot’s HostZealot page displayed a 3.2 average from 59 reviews, including 14 reviews in the previous 12 months. Trustpilot also said the company had not recently invited customers to review, so the submitted sample may not represent all customers. The page includes positive and negative experiences and company replies; individual accounts are reports by reviewers, not independently established findings. Use this snapshot to identify questions to ask, not as a substitute for checking the terms and service details that apply to your order.

Who should shortlist HostZealot?

It may fit

  • You need VPS, dedicated-server, or colocation hosting and can find a suitable plan in your required city.
  • You are comfortable verifying the resource allocation, support scope, backup arrangements, and full renewal cost before purchase.
  • You can judge advertised features against your own requirements rather than relying on unverified performance claims.

Compare further if

  • Your workload depends on independently measured uptime, latency, or support-response performance.
  • You need a specific city, hardware configuration, management service, or contractual SLA that is not clearly stated for the offer.
  • Suspension, verification, or refund terms could create significant operational or financial risk for your use case.

Pre-purchase checklist

  1. Confirm the target city and exact availability for the service and plan.
  2. Record the plan’s CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth, and any metering or usage limits.
  3. Confirm the first billing term, renewal price and term, taxes, fees, and add-on charges in checkout.
  4. Ask what support and management cover, and obtain any SLA terms that matter to your workload.
  5. Plan backups independently and verify how data can be restored.
  6. Read the current acceptable-use, account-verification, termination, and refund provisions.
  7. Treat uptime and provisioning statements as provider claims unless a clearly scoped SLA or independent measurement supports them.
