In that case, go to Store management → Orders, open the order, choose Cancel fulfillment, then Archive order, and confirm. If the customer has already paid, you refund the order instead. The steps below follow Hostinger’s help article on cancelling an order.
Before you start: can this order be canceled?
These instructions apply to a customer order placed in your own AI Builder online store. They don’t cover canceling your Hostinger subscription (see the last section).

|---|---|
| Unpaid and unfulfilled | Cancel it from the Orders page (steps below). |
| Already paid | Issue a refund. Hostinger says a paid order can’t simply be switched back to unpaid so it can be canceled. |
How to cancel an unpaid, unfulfilled order
- Open Store management for your AI Builder store.
- Go to Orders and open the order you want to cancel.
- Click the ellipsis (three-dot) menu and select Cancel fulfillment.
- Open More actions and select Archive order.
- Confirm when prompted. This is the final step, and it can’t be undone.
Hostinger says the order is then canceled and updated in your store.
What happens after cancellation
- It is permanent. A canceled order can’t be restored.
- Stock returns automatically if you have inventory tracking enabled.
- Invoices: you can’t create a new invoice for a canceled order. An invoice made before cancellation stays available to view, download, print or send.
If the order was already paid
Don’t use the cancel flow first. Return the money, as described in Hostinger’s guide to issuing refunds in the online store. How you do that depends on how the customer paid.

Online payments
Log in to your merchant account with the payment processor the customer used and issue the refund there.
Manual payments (such as cash)
Contact the customer and agree on how the money will be returned. Hostinger notes you can cancel fulfillment after you initiate a refund.

- Turning off auto-renewal: the service stays active until it expires.
An AI Builder site depends on an active plan, according to Hostinger’s hosting requirements. Save any content you want to keep before requesting a refund. Menu labels and refund terms can change, so check the linked Hostinger pages if your dashboard looks different.
