HostArmada suits a single WordPress site, or a small group of sites, for owners who want low-effort hosting at an entry price. Its main weakness is cost after the first term: on every plan, the regular monthly rate is five times the introductory rate. Choose WP Launcher for one site, WP Evolver if you run several sites with moderate traffic, and WP Speed Reaper if you need the most storage and the highest backup count in the lineup.
The three WordPress plans compared
HostArmada sells three WordPress plans. The figures below are the plan specifications and prices shown on the company’s official pricing page when checked on October 7, 2026. Prices exclude any taxes that apply at checkout.

| Plan | Intro monthly price | Regular monthly price | Websites | NVMe storage | Listed daily backups | Website transfers (plan comparison) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| WP Launcher | $1.99 | $9.95 | 1 | 15 GB | 7 | 1 |
| WP Evolver | $3.29 | $16.45 | Unlimited | 30 GB | 14 | 3 |
| WP Speed Reaper | $3.95 | $19.75 | Unlimited | 40 GB | 21 | 5 |
The discounted rates are tied to a billing term. The pricing page displays a 36-month billing option, and the promotional rate applies only to the term shown at checkout. The migration column comes from the plan comparison; the FAQ gives a different migration range, which is covered below.
WP Launcher: one website
This is the only plan limited to one website. It has the smallest storage allowance and the fewest listed daily backups, so it fits a personal blog, a portfolio, or a small business brochure site that will not grow beyond a single domain.
#1 Best Overall
WP Evolver: several sites on a moderate budget
Evolver removes the single-site limit and doubles the listed storage of Launcher to 30 GB. It is the most sensible choice for someone who runs two to several lightweight sites and wants the backup schedule to stay in place across them.
WP Speed Reaper: the largest allowance
Speed Reaper carries the highest listed storage (40 GB), the most daily backups (21), and the highest transfer allowance (5) in this lineup. The price difference from Evolver is modest in intro terms but larger at renewal, so it is worth paying for only when you need the extra storage or the larger backup history.

What you will pay across the term
The introductory price is what most landing pages emphasise, but the first term is only part of the cost. The table below multiplies each listed monthly rate by 36 months. It is arithmetic on the displayed prices, not a checkout quote, and it assumes the monthly rate applies for the whole period.
Rank #2
| Plan | 36 months at intro rate | 36 months at regular rate |
|---|---|---|
| WP Launcher | $71.64 | $358.20 |
| WP Evolver | $118.44 | $592.20 |
| WP Speed Reaper | $142.20 | $711.00 |
Cybernews, in its review updated March 25, 2026, also reports that renewal costs rise substantially from promotional rates. Budget for the regular-rate column, not the intro column, if the site will stay online beyond the first term.
Backups, migration and support
Daily backups
HostArmada’s FAQ states: “No matter which WordPress Hosting plan you choose, we will perform automated daily backups for your websites!” That is a vendor statement. The FAQ says account backups cover files, folders, email and databases, and that customers can restore files from cPanel. It does not spell out the same self-service path for databases or email, so confirm those restore steps with support before you depend on them.
Migration limits
The FAQ says transfers are available depending on the package, from one to three WordPress sites. The plan comparison lists one, three and five transfers for WP Launcher, WP Evolver and WP Speed Reaper. The two statements do not match. Ask HostArmada to confirm the migration allowance for your specific plan in writing before you plan a move.

Support channels
Support is described as 24/7 through a ticketing system. The FAQ treats live chat or phone calls as exceptions for urgent cases rather than the standard route, so plan for ticket response times when a problem is not an emergency.
The uptime claim
The FAQ states that HostArmada offers “more than 99.9% uptime” for WordPress websites. This is the company’s own claim. It is not an independently measured uptime series, and the sources reviewed here do not establish a long-duration uptime record. If uptime is a contractual requirement, request the service-level terms in writing rather than relying on the marketing figure.
What independent reviewers measured
Three reviewers published results in 2026. Each figure describes that reviewer’s own test site and setup, not every HostArmada site.
Rank #4
HostAdvice
HostAdvice reports a 100% GTmetrix score, 24 ms time to first byte, 392 ms largest contentful paint, and sub-second page loads on a fully built test site. It recommends the service for bloggers and small-business owners who want less technical work, and it points high-traffic WooCommerce stores toward WooCommerce hosting or a VPS. See the HostAdvice WordPress hosting review.
WPBeginner
WPBeginner reports a 100% GTmetrix score, a full page load of 822 ms and a largest contentful paint of 543 ms. It states that its test ran without a CDN or added optimisations. Read the WPBeginner HostArmada review for its test description.
Cybernews
Cybernews, in its review updated March 25, 2026, says HostArmada performed well on uptime and traffic handling in its tests. It flags the renewal increase and the limits of the lower plans, and it judges small-to-mid-sized sites a better fit than enterprise-scale or resource-heavy projects. These are the reviewer’s assessments, not guarantees. See the Cybernews HostArmada review.

Why the speed numbers differ
The HostAdvice and WPBeginner scores differ because the test sites, server locations, caching state and measurement settings differ. Neither result is a single HostArmada benchmark, and neither predicts the speed of a site with a heavy theme, many plugins or a large product catalogue. Measure your own site after migration.
Who is likely to outgrow these plans
Use the following checks to decide whether a shared WordPress plan will hold up:
- You run a WooCommerce store with sustained traffic. HostAdvice suggests WooCommerce hosting or a VPS for demanding high-traffic workloads.
- You operate a membership site or another traffic-heavy project that depends on logged-in users or frequent database work.
- You need enterprise-scale or resource-heavy hosting, which Cybernews does not place within the target fit for these plans.
- You plan to host many sites. Evolver and Speed Reaper list unlimited websites, but the storage figure is the only ceiling the page states, and it does not say how that storage is divided across sites.
Checks before you buy
- Open HostArmada’s official pricing page and note the billing term selected at checkout. The discounted rate applies to that term only.
- Calculate the renewal bill at the regular rate using the 36-month table above, and add any taxes shown at checkout.
- Ask support to confirm your plan’s migration allowance in writing, because the FAQ and the plan comparison differ.
- Confirm how to restore databases and email, not just files, before you rely on the backup schedule.
- If uptime is part of a client or business agreement, request the service-level terms rather than citing the company’s 99.9% claim.
- After migration, run a speed test on your own theme, plugins and content, and compare the result with the reviewer figures only as a rough reference.
Overall, HostArmada is a reasonable entry point for a small WordPress site that will not outgrow its plan quickly. Its value rests on the first term’s price, the daily backup promise and the reviewers’ favourable test results; the renewal cost and the unresolved migration wording are the points to settle before you commit.
