Lofty Sky Games and co-publisher NAGA Publishing disclosed the change on October 15 alongside a new Xbox trailer, Xbox pre-orders and pre-installation. The publishers say the extra day allows a special announcement at the Golden Joystick Awards in London.
What changed about the release date?
The launch has moved by exactly one day, to November 11, 2026. The October 15 announcement presents the change as a scheduling decision tied to a planned Golden Joystick Awards announcement, rather than a broader production delay. The event is scheduled to take place in London.

The trailer is the game’s major console-focused promotion so far. It introduces the investigative premise and highlights the visual approach built around observation, drawing and connecting clues. Lofty Sky Games has not published a final runtime, review score, sales forecast or audience figure, so the trailer should be treated as a story and gameplay preview rather than evidence of commercial performance.

Story and setting
You play as Hope Song, a 17-year-old artist who returns home to find her apartment ransacked and her parents missing. Her investigation uses what she notices in the environment, sketches she creates and links she makes between pieces of evidence.
The story takes place in Shenyang, Northeast China. The city is intended to function as part of the mystery, not simply as an interchangeable backdrop. That setting gives the investigation a specific social and geographic context while Hope’s artwork provides the central method for recording and interpreting clues.

Why the one-day move matters
A one-day shift is unusually small for a game release announcement. In this case, the stated reason is coordination with a special Golden Joystick Awards reveal. Players who have already pre-ordered or pre-installed on Xbox should expect the storefront date to update to November 11 rather than needing to buy the game again.
