Independent reviewers report standout endurance, but their results vary by use and test method. Its protection ratings also come with important limits: HONOR says the phone is not professionally water-resistant, and protection can decline with wear.
What the HONOR X9e Pro gets right
The X9e Pro’s central appeal is endurance. HONOR lists a silicon-carbon battery with 11,000mAh typical capacity and 10,510mAh rated capacity, plus 80W wired SuperCharge and up to 27W wired reverse charging. These are manufacturer specifications, not promises of a particular number of days between charges. HONOR’s product page says actual use and results depend on conditions.

Two independent reviews found the battery unusually capable, though their results should not be treated as directly comparable. Wilson Wong’s Techgoondu review, published September 25, 2026, says his unit had more than 90% charge left after over a day of light, casual use. That is an observation from his particular use, not a controlled battery test. Vincent Chang’s Can Buy or Not review reports 16 hours 6 minutes in PCMark’s battery test at maximum screen brightness. Chang also describes getting roughly two days of practical use. PCMark testing and everyday use measure different things, so neither figure guarantees your own runtime.

The other strength is protection. HONOR advertises IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, along with SGS five-star drop resistance and immersion protection of up to 10 metres under specified test conditions. These are manufacturer claims tied to test conditions, not a promise that the phone is invulnerable. HONOR explicitly says, “The phone is not professionally water resistant,” and cautions that its precision electronics can still be damaged by falls and that water protection may decline through daily wear. Check the exact local warranty and test conditions before relying on water protection; do not treat the ratings as permission for underwater use. HONOR’s qualifications and specifications explain the limits.

Where the tradeoffs show up
Camera: useful hardware, uneven results
HONOR specifies a 108MP main camera with optical image stabilization. That headline does not make the X9e Pro a camera-first phone. Can Buy or Not describes the main camera’s output as ordinary and says the ultra-wide camera produces soft, fuzzy images. Techgoondu reports missed focus in portrait mode. Techgoondu also notes that 4K video recording tops out at 30fps. If dependable portraits, a strong ultra-wide camera or flexible video modes are high priorities, these review findings are reasons to look beyond the megapixel count.
The display’s advertised 10,000-nit peak brightness likewise needs context: Can Buy or Not says this is a momentary peak across a small screen area, not the brightness of the whole display. It is not a useful figure to interpret as sustained full-screen brightness.

Performance: suitable expectations matter
SoyaCincau’s Malaysian launch report lists a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5, while Can Buy or Not reports occasional stutter in games. Chang recorded Geekbench 6 scores of 1,054 single-core and 3,201 multi-core on his 8GB/256GB review unit. Those are one reviewer’s results on one configuration, not a guarantee for every unit or a substitute for testing the games you play. The available evidence supports treating the phone as a battery- and durability-focused mid-ranger, not choosing it for demanding gaming.
Handling and everyday use
Despite the large battery, Techgoondu reports a thickness of 8.08mm and weight of 203g for its review unit. The reviewer says the shiny frame attracts fingerprints and can feel slippery, and recommends considering a case for grip and protection. A case may help handling, but confirm that it is specifically compatible with the X9e Pro before buying.

Before buying, compare the price for the exact storage option in your country and check stock, warranty coverage and whether a promotion is still active. The Singapore review prices show why it is worth checking the live offer rather than assuming one universal price. The Malaysian launch figure is a dated starting price, not a current price for every configuration.

Who should buy the HONOR X9e Pro?
It makes sense if
- You regularly spend long days away from a charger and value battery endurance over a slim, light handset.
- You want advertised drop and water protection, understand that lab ratings have limits, and will still handle the phone carefully.
- Your camera needs are modest and your gaming is not demanding.
Look elsewhere if
- You need consistently strong portraits, a sharp ultra-wide camera or more capable video options.
- You prioritize smooth performance in demanding games.
- You want a light phone, or you need water resistance that you can rely on without checking the fine print and warranty.
Verdict
The HONOR X9e Pro’s battery is its clearest reason to buy: both review evidence and its large manufacturer-rated capacity point to an endurance-focused phone. Its advertised durability adds appeal for travel and long days out, but does not make it damage-proof or professionally water-resistant. Buy it when those two strengths outweigh its camera and gaming compromises, and compare local prices and warranty terms before choosing a configuration.
