If watching tournaments or following a competitive scene is important to you, look at the events and teams available in your region, then decide whether their schedules and coverage match your interests.

Are both games free, and do you need to spend?
Both are positioned as free-to-play, but optional purchases are part of the experience. MOONTON describes MLBB as free-to-play and promotes event rewards, passes, and skins. Honor of Kings’ Google Play listing discloses optional virtual-currency purchases, including random virtual items, and claims there are no additional pay-to-win aspects.
